Is it me or was football more interesting and dramatic back in the day? I grew up watching these amazing players as a kid. I'm 19 now and I don't find the same charm and magic football had back then. We were blessed to be a part of that era. The years 2008-14 were something special.

Before the match most people considered Real the best team mainly due to Mourinho's arrival along with some good transfers they made before the season started. Due to this factor Barca was left a bit behind by many football fans. After the 5-0 these thoughts disappeared and the world realised which team was about to dominate for the rest of the season.

Watching that match was unreal. While watching it, it just felt like I was watching the best football I ever watched. The movements, the passing.. it was all incredible. Xavi receiving the ball and turning away from pressure. Iniesta's dribbles. Busquets' vision and passing. Messi's vision, dribbles, speed, 1-2's, goalscoring, passing, ball control.. it was all mouthwatering good.

Brought tears to my eyes! After so many years to watch this again... At the time I was in school, and didn't follow football much. Just started playing for the school team after convincing my mum for 2 years. I only joined the team since 2 of my girlfriends were in it and they needed players. I was told I was a midfielder and one month after I joined they sent me to play other schools. so I really didn't know that much but I was an okay player. The team decided to get together on the day of this match and watch it together. It was crazy. Our team was properly split between RM and Barca. There were lots and lots of tears.. good memories!

They signed him in hope of winning the league, CL and Spanish cup, Mou was considered the best coach at the time, he had just won CL with Inter Milan. This game was the game that Mourinho's Real Madrid was gonna be put to the test, was Real Madrid FINALLY gonna be able to win versus Barca? Little did they know that Barcelona at the time of this game was at their all-time peak, never have I've seen a team with such power. This video captures the greatness of this team, maybe Barcelona started to slowly decline after this point, even doe they kept playing football on a level above every other team in the world. I surely can't remember a game where Barca played on this level versus a team with Real Madrid calibre.
