Note from the editor: Faster than we could publish our early access review, the developer announced it was shutting down and The Day Before was removed from sale. The servers remain up for those who have bought it and not yet refunded, but since our reviewer went to the trouble of playing it, it seems only right that you should get to read what he thought of the experience while it lasted.

I'm glad this game happened. It will remain in history as the funniest thing. They released a game, got 13% positive reviews, mass refunds, and the studio closed after 4 days. This is hilarious!

@@Arsene-cj1tqDivision Survival Mode more accurate. Dark Zone isn't focused around the extraction aspect, it's just how you get loot out. You can stay in the area after extracting.

This game was a satire of modern day (specially aaa) gaming. Fake trailers and promises, release of an unfinished product that was "years in development" , for full game price , then a dev announcement that they are no longer supporting the game and that they are sorry, then the studio closed. Its a speedrun of most modern games and its really funny.

What a great Year in Gaming History! We had some of the Best Games of all Time this Year and now 4 Games who could be considered to be the Worst Games of all Time. There should be an Award Show just for the Worse with some Lifetime Archievment Awards for Companies like LJN.

It would have to be completely broken. As in, you can’t even boot it up on your PC/console. Or in the rare instances when you can launch the game, it would display a 1FPS slideshow and then crash.

See guys, we as gamers have major impact on the gaming industry. This game is the best example of it. If a scam like this releases and we decide to boycot it and demand refunds (wich are very justified) etc.... Look at the results, the game failed and the studio shuts down (also justfied). We have the power guys! Hit them where it hurts, their wallets. Its the only way we can demand higher quality games.
