You are right I don't think we did see his true peak even though he was great in 2012. I also think that the injuries forced him to change his playing style faster than expected and he became more of a playmaker since 2015. He was still great but the Messi opponents feared most was from 2010-2013.

@@mohit_10 I did and yes Messi was obviously still incredible in 2019 but it was still not his best version as a player simply because of his physical decline and loss of speed and explosiveness. The Messi after 2015 was not able to go on so many solo runs anymore.
