Personally, I think Skip Bayliss Should invest in his own show as a producer. Or something in that nature where he finds new talent and supports their growth. I could see him doing something like that for the next generation of sports talk. I feel like skip wants to still be doing it. I don't see him just retiring, but maybe he should take a back seat and be in the background and help future talent show their results. And he can profit from that. So I really think he should think about producing or starting his own company. Or something in that nature where he could still be involved, but he's behind the scenes. Investing in helping young talent take over for the future.

You know it’s funny, it never occurred to me that Shannon was the real reason I watched Undisputed and then I proceeded to really have an interest in the Nightcap with Ocho as well as an occasional club Shay Shay podcast. I realized a few weeks ago that I don’t find myself searching for undisputed clips on UKposts like I used to. And I am a guy that loves baseball the most by far so they are talking about my second and third favorite sports. And Shannon is the one I want to listen to.

I haven’t heard a thing about Skip since the first episode of Undisputed that he did with Richard Sherman. Other than that, I haven’t heard a peep from him. What’s sad is I don’t even watch undisputed to watch Skip Bayless. I watch it for Keyshawn Johnson his takes are realistic and reasonable. While Skip is stuck in the past.

Honestly, I can't watch sports talk shows anymore. I'll listen to sports radio sometimes, but like watching TV just to hear people's opinion felt really pointless as the years went by... just bc it had no meaning for what was actually going on. The best part was seeing the highlights of the best plays and stuff. So it wasn't all sports stuff. But the talk shows on television in particular. Even this video has more substance than two adults debating sports. I'm not even really sure how other adults still watch that stuff enough for the shows to profitable. Not saying I want them to fail, either... I just wonder how that stuff still entertains people day in and day out... But yeah, great video as always Mike. Skip should've been a better leader and nourished the connection with co-host a lil more... I like skip, but I really don't like that he wasn't better to Shannon off screen

There was a time when I enjoyed Skip and Shannon. But then they just kept falling into the same arguments over and over, and it felt like every show was either Brady vs Mahomes, the Cowboys, or Bakers 11 game run. It ultimately got stale, and the show has even less to offer me now. I hope he retires, both to reflect on and enjoy his accomplishments, as well as to open up time for First Things First.

The only thing I can see Skip retiring is if his takes are weak or he's not evolving with the times or evolution of sports. Or then that, retiring because Shannon is at an all time high and your show is not as popular doesn't make any sense.

Well it didn't end him and this is redone or reposted. It's been almost a year or more since this happened.

I don’t know that losing to UKposts means anything negative for Undisputed or Fox Sports. Most cable sports shows don’t even get the viewership that your channel does at this point. People are moving on from cable. UKposts and streaming services are the future. PFT comes on Peacock, Colin Cowherd has a podcast that’s completely separate from FS1, Kay Adams left NFL Network to do her podcast… Pat McAfee Show probably gets more viewers on UKposts than ESPN (though I’d have to look into it to confirm). Skip’s probably not retiring, but maybe he will move on to do just a UKposts Channel. Yeah, currently his UKposts channel sucks…but that’s really a part time thing he’s doing on top of Undisputed. If he could hire a producer and production crew, maybe bring Keyshawn Johnson or someone else with him, he’ll probably be fine. Pat McAfee changed the game. UKposts is the future, cable is the past.
