I'm not even into football at all but when I watched about this player I was amazed. That dedication, passion, all the sacrifice and discipline is just insane but also incredible and sooo inspiring. Is just a superhuman. Amazing 👏👏

Haaland is a class act - from being humble and self-critical in interviews, to spending extra time with the City youth academy to personally congratulating each one of his teammates in the tunnel after they battered LFC, to his selflessness on the pitch which is a true rarity in a striker. He seems to be the opposite of Mbappe and us City fans are so happy he’s like that. CTID!💙💙

Of course, that is average and Bolt has recorded a peak speed of almost 44 km/h. But again Haaland produces that in between 90 minutes of a game while Bolt sprints for under 10 seconds to cover his 100 metres. Both are tremendous athletes and possibly peak human abilities for our time but just putting it all in context.

I believe, as short as his career has been, there has been no goalscorer better than him. The question about Haaland is: He is such a finely-tuned thoroughbred of an athlete. Big, strong, Olympic-level fast and also extremely agile for his size on top of all that football ability. No human in the world can stop Erling Haaland, the only thing that can stop him is his own body. Can he drag out his career into his late 20s and beyond? Because I'm not convinced he can. If he can, he may have to blunt-down some of the nutty things he does like leap damn near 10 feet into the air with his foot 12 feet off the ground to control a pass. Already we see him taking a quarter or a third of the season off through injury. Man City are going to have to protect him, wrap him in cotton wool in order to keep him fit. They'll have to do this forever. Save him for key games, they have a whole squad full of world-class players, let someone else play away at Nottingham Forest. Save him for the big Champion's League stuff, for the key Premier League games and so on. Doing this will take from him his ability to break every record in the book, which may go against his legacy, but it may also help him continue to be the world's greatest goalscorer beyond the age of 25.

Great vid, very informative and looks very well researched. I also think that the speed of which Erling has been rising is a result of making a very smart decision on every important turn in his career. I bet after Mk he could have gone to a number of clubs with a higher standing than Salzburg, but he and his father knew that Salzburg were and still are great at developing talent. Also after RBS it would have been easy to go to ManU, rejoin his former coach and earn a lot more money from the get go, but again decided for a team who are very good at developing talent and giving them experience at the highest level of football. Only when they felt that Erling was truly ready, they made the move to one of the best teams in the world and look how that is already looking to pay off. I just hope Erling stays injury free as much as possible, then he could become one of the greatest ever. His humility made him very smart from a young age apparantly, so he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. As a Bayern fan I'm still sad that he didn't join us, but he seems to fit so perfectly into this Man City team that it is just such a joy to watch him. It will be terrifying if and when City crosses paths with Bayern.

There are always those several players that are not from the team you're supporting that you like so much. Haaland is one of them for me!

After it was announced that Erling had signed for city I randomly watched a podcast by 3 city supporters and they asked everyone’s predictions. Most said he will have a solid season but would struggle to adapt to the premier league. The podcasters were on the fence and said they don’t really see the hype. I predicted that if he would stay at city for any extended period of time he wouldn’t just beat aguero’s records but that he would smash it. This was met with sarcasm and ridicule. And now? Now he is doing everything I predicted and so much more. He will be the best goal scorer of all time…comfortably

Great documentary, but on that comparison with Kylian, I do believe Haaland is a much better goalscorer, but everything else, Mbappé does better. Mbappé is faster, can dribble better, is more skillful, can pass better...etc. Truly the best in the world.
