That rattle can also come from the fuel tank guard. check it and see.

I've never been a big fan of yellow paint on a sports car but this EVO 8 looks great in yellow with black wheels!! I'm thinking matching yellow powder coated brake calipers would really POP sitting behind those black rims..; just my 2 cents.

In the past I have had issues with the vent flap. The cause was that the outter housing of the cable was not secured causing a binding issue with the inner cable. I really couldn't tell in your video if the clips for the cable were in good shape or not. I feel like this might be part of the issue you are experiencing with the blend door since both the gears on the switch housing and the heater core work independently but not together.

I've started doing some tinting. Just for my own stuff and some friends, it's not that hard doing side windows. The back windows are what would be a pain. If you want it done for that car, just hire it out and learn on some of the other cars.

Have you tried to physically move the blend door itself? I had one that the sealing strip glued itself to the housing. I had to manually unseal it.

Since the blend door actuator is good and the switch is good could it be the cable connecting the two

I took off my center console to fix hazard switch and dislodged my temp control. It’s stuck on hot now. Which is nice. Till summer.

Dont like that flex fuel sensor placement. Get a leak from the fitting and its dripping all over that electrical box with the heat sink fins all over it so it must get hot. Or is it just me .

You should really just replace the heater core and evap core while you’re in there. Parts are cheap and it prolongs you having to pull all that stuff out again if something were to plug up or leak

How do you get the motivation to rip out the dash? I have to re pin my 60pin connector and completely rewire that section. I’ve ported, cammed and so much more. I’ve just hit a IDGAF anymore feeling. Can’t break past it…. Any suggestions? 🙏

Devin an 06 ralliart is fun to own the engine is a 4g69 its a freaking maching mine has 293k miles on stock motor and trans running like new has mivec its a poors man evo without awd also evo head fits the 4g69 block alot of people in puerto rico put evo heads to go from 1 cam to 2 cam head

Bro big ballers don’t drive Mitsubishi lancers. You could drop 100k into a Toyota Tercel, it’s still a Tercel, trash. This car is super clean but set YOUR GOALS HIGHER.
