Ok someone said the title during production was originally The Jackal which gets me thinking. Perhaps Damien will indeed be born from a jackal. Maybe these trailers are messing with us on purpose?? What if it's a total failure having a woman carry and the last scene is the jackal birthing the true antuchrist??

Not a good film. Where's the originality? Where's the authenticity before the 1976 film? If this is a prequel I looked forward to watch then it has no promises going to the theatre on the day of its release. Damien was born of a freakin animal! They scrap that to change the story of which Damien was born of a human mother. Not really happy.
