It's standard operating procedure for no compete clauses to be written into these types of contracts. There is probably a period anywhere between 90 days and a year after her firing where she can not have negotiations to work with a competitor of her previous employer.

@@88wildcat yep I get that. But if I understand this situation correctly NBC is paying her a full two years of her contract as of her termination which is $600k for a single appearance. My comment is more along the lines of the Fox on air talent shying away from saying "Hey girl come on over when you can, we'll take you". Nothing of the sort is even mentioned or hinted at. So I suspect deep down they don't want her either considering she was kicked out of the position as RNC chair.
