Well, they are like the cats of the bird world. They will throw things and whatnot. But they can destroy your house if you let them. I have eleven budgies and two cockatiels. They become the wild bunch in the house, always curious to get into things then get busted later. But that is one of the many things all birds do.They are hilarious they act just like little kids. 😂

This REALLY surprises me. The greys are a common bird to be purchased by, um, impulse buyers. (Spelled young) Then people get bored of them (because the "party trick" is no longer worth it) and given up for adoption, rehoming. Bird rescues usually always have some. Google parrot rescues in your area. I do not have one but I've typically seen where they become aggressive if they are not interacted with on a regular basis. You really must learn about their personalities. They are not a bird that enjoys cuddling but do like non contact interaction stimuli. The more intelligent a bird is, the more it requires interaction. Just my opinion.

No, but they are living beings that require care and attention. They need human interaction and mental stimulation daily. If they're going to be placed in a cage all day and ignored, then it's best not to have one.
