I actually really prefer it being a half-pyramid. It makes it perfect for a bookshelf-type display, which is where I would want this to be displayed. I do agree that the "buy two sets" gimmick seems like a throw-away feature. Unless the set includes alternate instructions allowing for the other side to be visually different. Then it would be ok.
@luisdireito

What would be even cooler is that if they release instructions for when you buy 2 sets, to assemble them in a better way than simply puting them one against the other, and so ending up with two Nile branch... @Real Aiglon Khufu’s body was place in the great pyramid but it is disputed that he did not build it just took it over as his. There were a couple others buried under in the subterranean chambers but these were exceptions not the rule. There are many pyramids but burial was largely in the valley of the kings.
@vampireintheopera8931
@vampireintheopera8931 5 днів тому
Pyramids were popular among kings of Old Kingdom, while in Middle and New Kingdom they didn’t bother themselves with buildings of that scale and they built their tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Khufu (who built the Giza Pyramid for himself) was the king during the Old Kingdom and the external stone sarcophagus is actually still in the pyramid. But the problems is that his tomb (pyramid is a tomb) was robbed and that’s the reason why his body and internal sarcophagus did not preserve. And it’s not only the case with pyramids. The majority of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings are robbed too, some even during Ancient Egypt itself and there are quite a lot of tombs without bodies though hieroglyphs on the walls point to exact ruler who was supposed to be there. Tutankhamun’s tomb is among extremely rare case of absolutely intact tomb due to the reason that it was well hidden and was discovered by accident only in early 20th century when the Egyptians started being extremely careful with their heritage and that prevented criminals from robbing the tomb.

@@vampireintheopera8931 I find it difficult to believe that with precision only found in today's technology that they cut all that stone with bronze tools. The lazer like straight and presice cuts, corner cuts that are diffucult by the masons of today, thousands of tons of the hardest granite from 100 miles away,all this in 20 years. Just to burry a king... I don't claim I know anything, no aliens or bs like that, but the narrative we have is missing something.

@enevitableparadox3735 5 днів тому
@@vampireintheopera8931 I find it interesting that Tesla built his Warden Cliff tower project by studying the pyramids. He backward engineered his own version of a massive electrical transfer device from its example. Maybe he was such a genius it simple inspired him in other ways, maybe he was screwing with people to keep the secrets of his invention from being known. When a man as smart as he is says it's an energy converter and builds his own and proves it I lean to his explanation. Has anyone ever even cut one whole stone block with the bronze tools that they said it was done with? No sarcophagus, no proof the tools at the time could produce the results, while the other guy shoots lightning into the air with his hypothesis. Something is missing from the story of our history.

I like that too. the model is great. However the explanation of the pyramid is typical mainstream narrative. The truth of the matter is that no one knows what they were used for; it's highly unlikely they were tombs though. No mummy ever has been found in one and if you compare the different pyramids (and especially the. complex beneath the pyramids) it's more likely it had a practical use. My best guess is either a food storage place/place of fermenting product or a factory of sorts to produce a product that was very valuable in it's time. This is supported by the granite boxes (they appear to be very different from an actual sarcophagus; just take a look at the one in Djoser, you gonna tell me that's a sarcophagus? I don't think so) in the pyramids of which each pyramid had 1 to max 2, of which even the sealed ones appeared to contain nothing except for some black gue that coated the walls of the granite boxes. It's also known how the were build btw, A French archeologist revealed an internal spiraling ramp to the top of the pyramids with more space at the e corners, probably to turn the blocks.

@@stijnvdv2 What are you on about. I'm studying archaeology and ancient history and I've written an essay about the evolution from early mud mastaba tombs to pyramids. The Pyramid of Djoser, which is the first Egyptian pyramid, shows very clearly how it was originally a mastab tomb with a step pyramid built on top. On top of this there are very often many mastaba tombs built around pyramids. It isn't difficult to deduce what they were for. Most pyramids also have the typical Egyptian tomb layout and make no sense as a work place. They may have been used to store food, though I haven't heard anything about that and it is just speculation. I find that likely only in times of strife since usually temples would be used for storage. I also have no idea what you are talking about when you imply stone sarcophogi are somehow not sarcophogi. You do know many pyramids literally have funerary inscriptions on the walls of the tomb? How is that not glaring evidence about the purpose of pyramids? Also you're being anachronistic when you talk about how a sarcophagus should look like, you have the idea of a new kingdom tomb in mind and if a tomb 1000 years before that looks different it isn't because rituals change over such long periods of time, its because it must be a different thing altogether. I highly recommend you read more on the subject before you spread more misinformation.

what you could do is take the top white part of the pyramid off and put it on a black base to match the rest but you could put it on the back side of the tan under pyramid and make it look like one side is piling off to show the under side or how it was made. i just thought it would be cool and you might have the parts to make a black base.and great review!

The hanging gardens would have to be an artist's interpretation, since there are no ruins left to determine what it looks like, or if it was real in the first place.

4:08 Well we kinda have figured out how the pyramids where build. the base was made out of natural rock, carved and brought over to make the foundation. The other bricks however are made out of an ancient type of concrete, hence explaining why the blocks are perfectly level and you can not even get a piece of paper between the blocks. The person who discovered this proceeded to collect the ingredients, make the recipe and had it analyzed between an actual piece of the pyramide. The results show it matched, and the 2 samples where indistinguishable from each other. However, because this would mean that the eqyptians didn't magically cut rocks with more precision than modern day machinery, it would lead to the mystery and magic being lost. Hence the people who have made a whole career out of researching the pyramids, reject the concrete theory and all it's proof, because it would cost them their jobs.
