Nicknamed Sugar for his sublime skill and blinding speed Ray Leonard was the savior of the sweet science, filling the void in the fans' hearts left by Muhammad Ali's retirement. He made great champions melt in the heat of mythical battles and became synonymous with non-stop action. Today we present Ray Leonard’s resounding knockouts that propelled him to prominence as a flawless boxer.

Our video about Roberto Duran: ukposts.info/have/v-deo/a5xok6qMj5ijt6c.html And Thomas Hearns: ukposts.info/have/v-deo/oad-p5uaaq2n140.html In the 80s, a remarkable rivalry unfolded in the world of boxing when four outstanding champions in adjacent weight classes competed to determine the best, engaging in nine bouts among themselves. This period is now referred to as the era of the "Four Kings."

Sugar Ray Leonard's speed and accuracy were legendary, but his footwork and ability to string together long, varied combinations were a thing of beauty. I been watching boxing since the 1980s and i think a lot of people dont realise how good SRL was, i seen em all and pound for pound hes the best IMO. Fastest hands barring probably Roy Jones , footwork, power, boxing skills and the brains. And above all always had that heart and guts to dig deep. A rare quality for someone so skilled.
@DeCurtaRican
@DeCurtaRican Місяць тому
Ray had a slightly better blend of speed and accuracy with deceptively great power, but not quite Roy’s level of power. Jones had a slightly better blend of speed and power but was still very accurate, just not as accurate as Ray. Ray was faster than Roy Jones, and more accurate. Jones had a better blend of speed and power.
