My nephew is autistic and was at first non verbal but I played this song and got him to start singing it with me, I showed his mom what that he was singing it she was so over joyed due to it being his first time speaking (singing). This is my anthem for 2023! I had a good cry listening and watching the video when the song was revealed during a rehearsal (a behind the scenes video with Keala Settle). Watching Keala sing these words live and raw was so empowering. I wish they allowed comments on that video. Thank you Keala for being seen, vulnerable, and beautifully free. When I’ve watched this movie for the first time, I almost cried during these songs. It’s so powerful and so beautiful!

I think the reason I like this song so much is because it applies to all groups of people, whether ur straight or gay, balck or white, or in my case autistic or non austic it just fits perfectly with anyones situation.

This was such a beautiful movie. It tackled real issues gracefully. The singing was nothing short of amazing.

Inspirational. Shows anybody no matter their race, appearance, disabilities, sexuality, gender or differences is equal,and capable of achieving their dreams. The music, the absolute heart and emotion put into the vocals, the lyrics, the choreography is just perfect. Nobody starts caring about them or seeing things differently but they stop caring that they don’t care. Every actor put their all into every second of this song and I am so proud of it. One of my all time favourites.
