I mean he still got dissociative wrong. It's not disassociative. "How do you know that?" We're an endogenic plural system so while we don't have DID ourselves, we interact with people who do on a regular basis due to our common trait of having multiple identities in one body, aka being plural.
@mortuaryerror5 днів тому
@@kleine.kleeblattClose, but no. It's dissociative, not disassociative. Disassociation can apply to anything, while dissociative specifically relates to the field of psychology. They mean very similar things, but one's generalised while the other's specialised. After all, you don't dissociate with a group, you disassociate. Regards, an OSDD-1b system EDIT: Approx 2 seconds after I wrote this I reread your reply and realised I pulled a dumbass move. You're right and we're making the same point, but I'm keeping this reply because a) it might help someone else make the distinction, and b) I learned the difference for this reply and it was kind of cool to read about

@timeforproblems10 днів тому
what did it mean?? sorry im confused
@DevilJhoMama10 днів тому
@timeforproblems Schizophrenia is characterised by thoughts or experiences that seem out of touch with reality. An example of this is thinking someone said something about you when you didn't. This is often exaggerated for comedic purposes, to pretend like people can have conversations with people who aren't there. After the asthma shot, Al looks and sees that he was talking to nobody. This shows that he not only has asthma but schizophrenia also.

@enpeacemusic19210 днів тому
Figuring out by yourself that you have DID is absolutely horrifying, especially when half a year ago you were convinced everything was fine. DID is usually not noticeable because usually it works well; identities front at the times they're supposed to so it doesn't create any problems. But eventually you start to notice little things: maybe multiples voices in your head you can talk to, not remembering stuff, and remembering it later again. Not remembering chunks of your day-to-day life. Maybe you often don't feel like yourself, you start to lose track completely of who you are as you seem to be so many different people at the same time. Something is wrong, your brain basically screams, but what? Something feels so off about the world around but what? Eventually nothing feels right anymore. You wake up in strange places that look familiar, but feel completely different. It took me a year of constant hurt to finally accept that I might have DID
@cloudedfreedom62863 дні тому
@@enpeacemusic192definitely. DID is only scary before you realize and come to terms with it, imo. I’ve got it- and I’m totally okay now. I believe this is my 9th month since I realized. Realizing and going through the process was absolutely hell. But now that things are settled, it calms down. At least for me. It is definitely a challenge to live with. But for me, it’s not a set back anymore. My mental state has skyrocketed. I am not at all diagnosed, although I’m seeking diagnosis as soon as possible.
