I still remember my first day getting out on the melted ice of the South Pacific, back in ‘65 with my Dad. After having kids and grandkids with no interest of getting out on that ice, I too am brought to a sense of relief seeing that there still are the few in this generation carrying on the legacy.

This so fucking wholesome. In real shows, Joel's character would end up arguing with Bart, leading to bart leaving the ice, and never returning. But instead, Joel boosts his husband's self esteem, giving him the push he need...To head out on that melted ice.

The real danger of melted ice is that it's so hard to see the yellow ice. They were so brave getting out on the melted ice knowing that yellow ice could be lurking anywhere.

Fun fact, as long as the concentration of air-ice in the air is low enough, the melted ice will just start to evaporate without the addition of energy, since the melted ice itself has energy. This will happen until it reaches equilibrium air-ice pressure.

The science part may turn off many cable viewers. Its too complicated. How about a segment where the colors are very oversaturated, and several contrived characters with randomized stereotypical traits compete to make the best cupcake.

This inspired me to tell my best friend that he's special to me. He replied with " Wtf are you talking about?" I told him "I'm just saying you're special to me and I appreciate you." If you are familiar with the general shape of the USA, Maine is that most northeast part. While someplace like Alaska is more geographically isolated and inhospitable, it's actually so _much_ so that it's no longer passive aggressive, and so in a visceral way is telling ones family, "I'd rather live in Alaska than risk having to see you," whereas Maine is like, "why don't you ever visit more often? I thought you loved 'Maine!'" Maine's postal abbreviation is even "ME." Ponder that ;)

This was a really good episode but my favourite is still the one from Season 2 called "Episode 23 and Me: Ice Guys Finnish Past" Which is about Duncan and Bart taking an ancestry test and finding out they both have genetic ties to Finland and because of this decide to travel there to discover and reconnect with their familial, historical and cultural roots as well as walking on the finnish ice of course. This episode also features a subplot where Duncan and Bart talk about their struggling sex life as neither of them had much sexual experience in their youth and are therefore insecure about their sex skills.

By far the worst season was 3, when they tried to pass off adventure-loving Haddock as a third main character for a few episodes before spinning him off on his own failed series Ice Guys: Frozen Fortunes.

I'm so proud of Bart for just accepting the compliment. It was probably very flattering considering it came from Dinkus, who's been voted to be the world's second most handsome man to appear on the hit series Ice Guys and the spin-off series, Ice guys: Meltdown.
