Even in the times of Washington, Hamilton was a federalist and Jefferson was a Republican and the two parties hated eachother. There were Classical Liberals, Conservatives, Republicans, etc., very few Federalists after Jefferson though.

here's a few interesting ones: 2003, Allan “Twig” Simmons, an operative for the East Chicago, Indiana, mayor’s campaign (Robert P (Democrat) ), persuaded voters to let him fill out their absentee ballots in exchange for jobs. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years of probation and 100 hours of community service. Fraud in the 2003 East Chicago mayoral primary was so widespread that the Indiana Supreme Court ultimately overturned the election results and ordered a special mayoral election that resulted in a different winner. 2004, Six Democrats from Lincoln County, West Virginia, pleaded guilty to charges of participating in a conspiracy to buy votes dating back to 1990. The indictment charged that the cabal conspired to buy votes in every election held between 1990 and 2004, handing out slates listing preferred candidates and using liquor and cash-typically $20 per vote-to seal the deal. They also laid gravel on roads for supporters and fixed traffic tickets. 2004, East St. Louis, Illinois, precinct committeemen Charles Powell, Sheila Thomas, Jesse Lewis, and Kelvin Ellis, as well as precinct worker Yvette Johnson, were convicted of conspiracy to commit election fraud after participating in vote buying activities in the 2004 election, including submitting budgets that would allow city funds to be used to pay voters to vote for Democrat candidates. 2008, ACORN workers in Seattle, Washington, committed what the secretary of state called, “the worst case of voter registration fraud in the history of the state of Washington.” The group submitted 1,762 fraudulent voter registration forms for democrats. The group’s leader, Clifton Mitchell, was convicted of false registrations and served nearly three months in jail. Four other ACORN workers on his team also received jail time, and ACORN was fined $25,000 to cover the cost of the investigation.

He was not talking about traditional mail in balloting. He is talking about unsolicited mail balloting, which has never been seen on this scale level before, where many states voter registration lists aren't updated with death or recent moves that could draw multiple voting under different names. Which could be a problem from both sides of the political parties. At least make sure you are referencing correct information instead of censoring select information for your own advancement.

@@tamiramos5873 Well, it isn’t just not wanting to get Covid that’s making it harder for mail-in ballots to be counted for voting. I believe there was also something about how the state could count votes as non legitimate without telling the voter directly. The voter can still find out by going to the website and do some searching to find if their vote counts or not, but with this tedious work; many would rather just go in person. And with the Covid thing people might not just go in general, or if they do go they’re in the place of being ostracized, rarely, by voters on a different political side. Or feel intimidated by how much the other side is huge compared to them, safer in numbers kind of mentality. And you might think that instead of going in person and doing all this stuff that makes them uncomfortable, just do the 30 to 60 minutes finding out if the vote counts or not, I don’t know how long it take. But you have to realize that people would rather take the path that seems easier than the one that looks or is harder. Like when Micheal Scott decided to finish the payment on the condo instead of paying the $3,000 fee to stop it. Even though it cost way more to finish the payments. I don’t know much about this, I’ve just seen a couple of news videos ranging from a couple different news stations NBC, Forbes, or smaller channels/stations that discuss the bill. There’s other reasons too but I don’t remember or know enough to list them.

1.This was made before the election. 2. Chris Krebs the director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure security at the homeland security (A department in the president’s cabinet) has called this a secure election. 3. Attorney General William Barr (who trump appointed and who defended Trump during the multiple scandals of his) said that there is no widespread fraud. 4. Trump alleged voter fraud in 2016 too when he lost the popular vote and the committee came up with nothing.

JUST VOTE. Dunno about the US but we just did a little provincial election here in BC and they are taking into account the number of requested mail-out ballots compared to the returned number of those requested, cross-referencing with those who voted in-person or who registered this year..etc., etc. The full results are expected in a few weeks after this work is completed. Voter fraud is pretty low, guys, if someone burns your vote...your nonpartisan vote-counters should be investigating that sort of thing. You should also be able to follow-up to ensure your vote was received. The scare tactic in the US of "vote in person not by mail because voter fraud" is literally a scare tactic to prevent you from voting so that the party pushing those fears "wins" the election.

Voter fraud depends on whomever deals with the ballots. I don’t know if it counts but during and after 2018 midterms for the USA, there were some allegedly shady things involving the ballots of voters in Broward county Florida, and one Brenda… Can’t remember her last name. Whether it was voter fraud or not, I don’t know.

My question is how did things go down the way they did with no oversight and as much shadiness as I witnessed. I have been a chief election judge twice. Once voting is over, both the Republican and the Democrat chief perform end of night duties together so nothing is "tainted." Unless polling places made sure they had rhino's or Republicans that were never Trumper's I don't understand why things appeared shady and misguided and all the things came out and witness testimony in the hundred were given about a faulty voter experience.

@Super JLK I mean honestly Trump isn't breaking the chain...he's another elite insider millionaire just like the Clintons and they ran in the same shady circles before he became a politician. And now that he's in office his policies hurt regular Americans just as much as the policies of both Clinton Democrats and Reagan Republicans do. Just keeping power in the hands of the powerful and wealth in the hands of the wealthy.

@Super JLK the media outlets that are in the Democrats' pockets bash Trump and the media outlets that are in the Republicans' pockets bash Biden, and most of them are owned by the same parent corporations anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ if Trump was actually a threat to the wealthy and powerful, they wouldn't give him much airtime at all probably, they'd rather keep us distracted blaming one party or the other for the problems of the whole system

Buzzfeed in this video: The instances of voter fraud is so low with mail-in voting that only a handful of votes will be effected, so don't worry about it. Also Buzzfeed in the same video: Go out and vote, because every vote counts and some elections have been decided by only a handful of votes.

In California there is ballot harvesting, they vote for you, that should be against the law,but Democratic rule California, so the rest of us have to fight harder to get our voice heard. My husband and I are voting for Trump. The rest of you can be sheeple, but the rest of us want our voices heard. It doesn't matter what state you live in you voice needs to be heard, that's our right as citizens of the United States of America

how? even if you're voting trump you have to recognize that voter fraud is bound to happen...but it is so microscopic it doesnt even affect margin or errors in any state historically.... it just so happens one candidate it pushing claims and people are actually believing there are upward of 17 million fraudulent votes already.... I'm not above giving trump credit where he deserves it....but this one ain't one of them. also poll watchers sound good....but they are biased poll watchers....that inherently makes them ineligible to oversee safe voting. I know state workers vote...but that dont show that on the job.

I see why you say that; however, popular vote on state level dictates the electoral college. The number of electoral college votes per state is based on population spread. It allows a representation equity across the nation so small states can protect their resources and voice. Otherwise, CA and NY would be the only places that matter, and could elect singularly a president that would advocate draining the Great Lakes to provide water to Central Valley (CA) farmers.
