This game is actually incredibly friendly and rewarding to new players, but it is just (unnecessarily) way too complicated for a casual player to pick up. If anything, it's not rewarding or challenging enough for the veterans. Think about timeline survival as an example. It's very easy for a newer player to jump into and build their way up. But for someone who has been playing for 5+ years, it's braindead and the rewards are barely worth the effort. That's almost every game mode.

The problem is that NMM has let the RPG side atrophy to such an extent that the Barbie Simulator is the only enjoyable part left.

For a collection game, MFF actually lacks a mod where you can see all the dolls idling around, like a sheild head quarter where you can decorate and place you characters in it and see how they do things and interact things. TBH, I would actually want this mode, since many characters have good models and cool animations, it sucks to not see them often()

My theory on why the MFF devs don’t rework pvp, is because their to greedy to give us a reward boost. They know if they rework timeline battle (for example) that the players will be expecting a bump in the rewards (aka crystals) and if they don’t do that their doing more harm than good(because In their 1 neuron brains, giving us an extra 100-150 crystals per week will kill the game). So they choose greed and a slow death rather then a reward bump and a breath of fresh air for the game

They need to fix the comic cards rolling factor for blue stars. I spent months re-rolling one card for all blue stars and I get free P card only to waste it trying to get my last blue star card. Months of doing this makes it hopeless basically.

I'm a returning player from 2015, your videos been such a godsend of information I needed, been overwhelmed with all the new stuff they added over the years but slowly getting a lock on things thanks to all your content you've made over the years, hopefully the game doesn't end anytime soon and they pull their shit together.

They create all that interesting debuffs and yet they make most of it useless: World Boss Legend and GBR resist all kinds of debuff,and the OP *remove all debuff* in Pvp make it even worse.

Variety should be the spice of life. Our barbie dolls need to have a purpose. There's definitely an imbalance. Money makes the world go round but the game modes still need to be fresh and different. The re-rolling system made me delete my game. The problem with Marvel Future Fight that it is too greedy to play at the highest level. It’s not fair to f2p and low spending players.

I feel your pain, Alex. Also, during main and midmonth updates, new uniforms made characters strong. So, many players were amazed and bought them. After several weeks, somehow those characters were not strong as before. Then, another batch of new uniform was released again for the same purpose. The ugly truth is there is always the greedy sellers and the idiot consumers. Not a damn thing we can do about it. Thats just my opinion.

My coworker recently started playing MFF on my recommendation, with a strong warning from me that it can be an overwhelming mess for the uninitiated. If I wasn't there to show him how the game actually works, I'm not sure he would still be playing. NM certainly gives you a lot of enticing freebies at first but without guidance you can end up with an absolute trash account. Or you spend money, which is obviously the underlying goal 😂.

There's no point of a collection if you can't do anything with it for example people with car collections want to drive them or people with magic card collections make decks and play with each other, game modes are always king. That leads on to the scale, you don't need to monetize both sides if they invested in the "RPG" side the "collection" side would make more money

They could make a game mode where you xan use a character only like once a week and where you get a decent amount of t4 materials for example. That way, you wouldnt always use the same 5 characters like wbl or owb and you'd have to build more characters (like 35 for the whole week). The rewards would have to be enough to push players to play that game mode and to build more characters

I'm not sure how much I agree, I started playing in 2016 but I quit a bunch of time in between & had the longest continuous play in 2017-2019. Then I quit & come back for 2-4 Months or so in a year. Now the problem I'm facing is I don't see progress in my account at all. I mean when I left in 2019 I was f2p then & could still compete in PvP vibranium league every other week, I was never an abx guy. So I left in the start coz those p card changes & blue stars & sh*t. Well they improved it a lot now. But no matter what you say I can't compete in anything with anyone anymore I thought buying new unis will do so I bought some crystals 2nd time in ever spending in a mobile game, but no change. Then alliance told to get cards but u get cards with dimensions rift & none of my character can do it on auto yay. Then somehow u get thru it. Got 2% Pierce will something change? Nope got first t4 something change? Nope still can't do gbr dormamu so leaving all that sof everyday lol then this dimension rift bs tbh this is the worst change ever, I hate how u have to play it fucking 50 times 2 times a day I can't do that fk it no one can, ik most PPL will say find a better alliance sure it will make it better, but why do u think I wanna play this sh*t so much that I'll invest not my other free time in searching for other people rather than playing something I like & it gives a sense of competition & progression without keeping me there for fking 2 months grinding one game mode 100 time a day to get 3 cards with 2% total Pierce still. It's annoying alright I know gamemode problem are there but tbh they should address progression problem first this way of doing cards by giving away all the free time u have to just this game no thanks. I don't know man.. I really liked when they introduced that t4 discount thing I felt happy & progression is there I coud see coz now I can get all 5 wbl clears finally in a day but still can't clear dormamu just do Galactus for 30 sof. It's not very encouraging. They just have to make progression easier & achievable that's how u retain players giving them hope that they can beat that top PvP player one day , then working on game modes is a better option in my point of view. I agree with commander and I agree with you that the R. PG aspect of the game is on life support and they don't care.

Strike Force does a good job of making all their characters useful, since they have a large catalog of characters. MFF should take notes from them. Also SF’s uniforms don’t change how good a character plays, essentially not forcing you to buy uniforms for characters to compete. Bet if MFF took that approach with uniforms, the game would change in a more positive manner.

Yeah my issue is that the updates that do not include seasonal uniforms, highly expensive paywall/crystal wall/ epic quest deluxe characters, or native T2/T3 are just phoned in and pointless. It makes it not even worth keeping up because it gets expensive and the rewards just simply are not worth it. I can’t remember the last time I actually cared about Timeline. Because I refused to buy Adam and Madelyn for crumbs.

How about a video on which of the characters you actually use currently? In my alliance there is always the discussion "do I need the new uniform for character XYZ" after an update. And in a lot of the cases my answer nowadays is: no, because you won't use the character anywhere. I bought so many uniforms and I never play the characters and don't even know the rotations, because there are other characters that can do the same things faster and/or easier. And if you don't spend hunderts of dollars monthly on the game, do you really have the ressources to max out every character to t4 to make them usefull or better than a previous character? So how about alongside the tier list, make a "usage list"?

The only way to fix pvp is to pull a hero click or scale system make characters worth points the more meta the more points. Let's say for example you need ten points let's say Thanos is 5 doesn't matter If he's t4 or t3 or whatever you Need 5 more points let's say his son is worth 2 and ebony maw is worth 3. you have a team that benefits from team bonding and its not Thanos jean and spiderman I feel it's the only way to round it out at this point and to make your collection worth it.

Maybe devs see that much of the player base do not care about PVP because the PVP is not worth to do... Rewards are not interesting to invest in PVP... Other games give you incentives to spend crystals and so players are not stingy to spend crystals...

I don’t understand the point that PVP has been neglected when since day one, PVP has always been the main focus of this game. It’s the exact opposite, the game is too focused on PVP that it neglected the other game modes.

lmao no mff is prob one of the worst games. Automation sucks and the game requires u to have the game running all the time to collect resources in the ones and twos to build characters, that require materials in the thousands. Every decade they'll increase the rewards by 1%. No. Just no in the correct answer. Too much RNG, which is basically gambling, being slapped in every fkn corner of this game.

It IS a collection game, and all of these content creators max everything out so quickly in order to make content that they obviously get bored quickly. Many of us can't whale as hard and are just trying to catch up our collections to do the content these creators have long gotten bored of.

U don't control ur own characters in any of the PvP game modes besides Timeline. They should've fixed that forever ago... Note: They should add a way to bet crystals against other accounts in PvP. They'd make a mint. But they'd have to make all PvP have an element of manual control. Double CTP slots as well. This game would boom.

I can't even consider this an RPG anymore. RPG implies a story, progression, goals. None of that has really advanced in years. Do most players even know what the basic story premise of this game is anymore? The collection is all that's really driven nowadays, and the problem is for a growing number of players, the collection is losing value if there isn't somewhere to use their newest Barbie and/or Costume that feels meaningful. Case in point, great Thane got a T3 and Phoenix uniform....and outside of Shadowlands, where am I going to use him other than that one place I was using him already?

I don't even think it's that good from a Collector standpoint. Once you get to the endgame in MFF, the only characters left require thousands of crystals or a paywall to obtain, and most of them aren't even usable. It's not like there's much variety, Jean Grey is meta in PVP all year round atp. I can collect old uniforms, but no matter how much I like them, I'm forced to play with the newier, shinier toys, whether I like it or not, cause otherwise the game is pretty much unplayable. I can't clear Dormammu with Phoenix 5 Cyclops. But worse, even if there were more variety, if anything it would be MORE punishing to players, because they're not giving us the resources to level up these characters. I just got back into the game, having played it since the very beginning, and having taken my first year long break. I quit before because the grind to get T4 characters was essentially unachievable when they were released, even for me with so many T3s. The only way I could progress my account, or "upgrade my dollhouse" I guess, is by clearing Dormammu, which at that point was impossible for me with only 10% pierce. Now I get back into the game, and although the grind is still pretty unforgiving, getting 4% more exp on one character's gears every day, and getting kicked 100 times from GBR before getting carried to clear it, I just sit here knowing that if my gold wasn't in the 100,000s, and if I had 10s of thousands of T4 materials, and if all my characters were levelled and I had no one I needed to focus on, then I probably wouldn't have the motivation to even clear my 5 world bosses a day. Heck, I have no motivation to go any higher than Bronze in PVP, because everyone seems to have T4s for their entire team even at the very bottom. I'm sitting here with Ghost Rider ready to T4, except I have to wait until October to get his uniform. I'm trying to decide whether to get T4 Jean or Silver Surfer first, which one will provide more for me. It's like I'm trying to walk a tightrope. If I fall one side, I have no characters I need to level, and resources sitting there doing nothing, and therefore no passion to play the game at all. If I fall the other, I have too many characters I need to level, so much to do to level up and a grind that moves at a snail's pace, a race where I inevitably will never catch up. Actually, the second option is better for me, I've loved this game since the start and I want to play more, it's just really unrewarding to do so. For example, I think I'd probably play more of the game if they removed the cap on how much Soul of the Faltine you could farm in a day. I don't have infinite characters to play GBR with in the first place, so that's a cap in of itself. I'm a little concerned with how fast they're pumping out new T4s and such, but thinking more about it, I think that's actually kinda a good thing. As long as we get actually good T4s like Silver Surfer, not shitty low effort ones like Ebony Maw. Because the ideal form of this game for me is one where you can build up characters in a reasonable amount of time, where you can play whoever you want, where you can pick and choose and aren't required to focus on one or two units whilst ignoring everyone else. That's why you can only use characters once a day in GBR, that's why you need 5 teams for WBL. The only issue with releasing more characters is that there's never enough premium currency to afford them. I think if anything, that's the one sign that this game ISN'T dying. 7 Deadly Sins Grand Cross gives out enough gems to get a character practically every month through nothing but check ins. Meanwhile in MFF, where one character can cost you up to 7,700 crystals, you get a whole 25 crystals a day. I don't know who's sticking around to get those deluxe pack characters, who's able to afford the meta uniforms every month without paying for them, but I guess Netmarble thinks that devoted playerbase is enough, and every new player who isn't willing to wait that long to get Jean Grey to a playable state is just disposable income at that point? TLDR, I think there's a lot of issues this game needs to fix; better reworks for characters so the dollhouse doesn't fall apart, more gamemodes and better rewards, T4 materials, Crystals, I could even use more T3 materials honestly, and maybe to top it all off an actual living environment where we can walk around and talk to the characters we're spending so much time and effort and sometimes money on. The reason the rpg side of the game gets left behind is because they are always coming out with a mechanic that is busted and then not giving it to all the characters they release which in turn makes us not even want to build them because they are useless. I know everyone can't be meta at this point in the game and that's fine but they can at lease be useful, seriously there are only 70ish(could be less actually) characters that you need in this game right now and the rest are shadowland and story mode fodder

Well first everyone egging the creators on to make more and more pay to win thats all the public fault instead of make a game for enjoyment I loved this game at one point but the fact u need 3 tier 4 to fight a world boss is beyond stupid now most of us can't play and your game is now trash
