No, I meant issues with overheating and such. Phones used to have 10 minutes recording limit for 4K videos to prevent overheating a few years ago

I agree... I have the 12 and there's no way they turned on the hypersmooth... it looks like shaky footage from a Hero 5 to be honest.

@@RashoLive It's lowlight stabilization, GoPro really suffers there, you can watch other comparisons and all lead to the same conclusion. While in daylight GoPro still has amazing stabilization, in lowlight the excessive shutter speed time to counter the small pixel size makes it have a lot of motion blur and not being able to keep the same horizon leveling

So apparently after some light research, go pro uterly suck a low light video stablization, i never knew that, it's crazy they have been makeing these for 10 years and still can not use Gyro data for stabilization why on earth would you only or mostly rely on pixels for that. any who, Like Alex said below, (with other terms) gopro have a major flaw. This insta360 seems way more fun and practical in all terms anyway.

EIS naturally becomes more prone to motion blur when the shutter speed gets longer, as the GoPro is trying its best to gather more light without relying on digital amplification. There are mainly 3 tactics to be used: keep the same amount of smoothing and let motion blur smear the image (the most common naive one), or adjust the smoothing parameters to sort of go with the motion blur a bit and visually masking out the blur while sacrificing the gimbal like smoothness (Google started doing this from Pixel 2, GoPro in this vid seems to be this case as well), or pretend it’s like daylight and shoot at a faster shutter speed so that smoothness is kept and throw insanely high ISO amplified image to the post processing pipeline and pray noise reduction algorithms can do something (Insta360 Ace Pro’s spatial-temporal noise reduction and highlight recovery algorithms doing wonders in this case). So it’s GoPro itself chooses to sacrifice the smoothness a bit. Turning EIS completely off will introduce the annoying very high frequency shake when the camera is hard mounted to moving stuff. Some degree of motion filtering is present here.

They are in Canada, where AVP hasn't launched yet. Before you say it, yes, Linus got one but he had to use workarounds to bypass the restriction. Who knows, maybe he got one while he was in the States with Waymo or maybe he's waiting for the local launch or maybe they felt covering the fake was good enough or they decided going in late wasn't worth the cost and production time. We'll just have to see.
