That half press, full press feature for the capture button sounds like something that would work well with haptic buttons in the same way that the trackpad on Macs allows a click or press action.

At least half of Apple’s iPhone user base will have 3D photo/video capability in their phones in 5 years. *That’s* going to be the real revolution in 3D content.

Brian, that was a really good analysis video bravo. I truly wish they could create Siri to have a personality similar to the one that was in the movie her or even HAL. But that would involve AGI. The true path to any type of pseudo AGI would have to be perpetuated through a quantum network operation protocol because the human mind or any type of level of sentient awareness would probably have to be quantum entangled. I like the product items that you specified, and I am interested in the mouse in particular. Thanks for the suggestion. On a sidenote, I just got to do a demo on the Vision Pro headset. The two things that I found very impressive were the spatial video aspects, which truly does create a 3-D like immersive experience. They have an app called immersive I believe, and the 8K quality of those impressions of Alicia Keys, playing the piano , NBA courtside; flying through a cityscape etc are illustrating the potential of this device in the future, particularly with the utilization of next gen VR appropriation. I’m still not too decisive on the productivity of this headset’s capability, particularly in rapid decision-making scenarios. if you could elaborate on that that would be great. Have a good day. I’m not so sure if Apple is necessarily behind in AI, they’ve just been working behind the scenes. As for the new iPhone, I’m definitely getting the iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max. I just have to decide on which size I want. I’ve always had the plus or the Max and my current phone, I decided for the 6.1 inch. It felt a little small at first, but I’ve grown to love this size! It’s big enough yet it just fits in the pockets better and I can handle it a bit easier. I heard a rumor that they are making both phones bigger. If so, that may solidify the smaller one for me.

Great video. Because Apple is a tech company and not the marketing company so many believe, Apple has a way of coming into a market with a bold vision that totally disrupts it. I cannot believe Apple is “behind” in AI technology. They probably will present an interpretation of AI that will seem like an obvious no-brainer once they define their version.

This is just speculation but I don't think Apple will be behind on AI. I think they have just been trying to work out all the kinks before they release it. Do you remember how buggy ChatGPT and Bing Chat were when they are first released? You were able to get them to say some crazy stuff and also they are often so sure about what they are saying even when they are wrong. I think Apple doesn't want to release a "beta" AI like those ones were and they want their AI to be as polished as possible before they show the world. You know how hard people come down on Apple for the tiniest things. I'm excited to see what they have. Not just the smarter Siri (which is incredibly exciting by itself) but also some of these tools that have been teased like being able to turn a still image into a GIF or editing photos with voice prompts like "make it brighter and remove the guy in the background" etc. Has anyone looked at the demo images on the S24 Ultra of their AI edited photos? It's hilarious how bad they are. Big blurred areas where the subject was moved from and then horrible cutouts around the subject. I'm surprised they pushed such a beta looking feature to the world. This is what I hope Apple has avoided by taking their time. I don't mind if the features are late, as long as they are polished and worth the wait.
