My first ever girlfriend when i was 15 dedicated this to me at that time (and this was HOW WE PROPOSED TO EACH OTHER. Because we were to scared to say how we felt) and she said that she was dedicating this to me. I will always be grateful because of her i discovered such a beautiful band :) For context, I am 22 now, we broke up soon after but still, 7 years later this is a gem and so are their other songs!

This song is just such a special thing to me. I'm 14 and I remember before I reached 10 years old my mom loved taking me and my older brother all over place to see crazy things. I remember staring out the window at the white clouds and scenery, only to hear this song play on the radio. I didn't pay attention to the words because I was young but the music was awesome. I don't really spend much time with my mom anymore, and back then is when I was happy and I didn't have to think about the things that went wrong. This was around the years where my mom met my second stepdad. When I was born my real dad left and I've never even got to talk or see him. It makes me sad that he hated me so he would leave but I try not to focus on that. My mom doesn't like bringing it up because she doesn't want me to know. I'll be listening to this song a lot more now that I finally found it. It will make me remember who I used to be.

I remember going to a music festival (Longitude) in 2016 and quietly singing this to myself while walking around, all of a sudden I hear the actual band singing it from across the park. I was baffled.

I thought this song was a lot more popular

There was a small local band back home who used to cover this song, they used to play during the summer on the beach, pub gardens etc and it brings back so many good, sometimes bad and nostalgic memories of that summer, dancing in the sun and evening after a few too many ciders. Not a worry in the world apart from sharing the moment with your friends in a beautiful environment. As someone who is considerably older with a lot more responsibility now I still have this song to bring me back to that place. Crazy the power of music.
