Well, they always say you can't write sports history, you just have to react to and relish it, but this felt like cosmic justice. France and Mbappe will be back, of course. Messi is at a long distance the best ever, not just for this generation, but every generation. Best ever: Messi, Pele, Maradona Ronaldo is top 10 for sure and Mbappe will be top 10 too at the end of his career.
