in the theatres i’m gonna be like “oh i remember that scene from the tv spot” and “yo that was that sick and spoiled shot from that one teaser”

When I saw the trailer in theaters, I just thought it was funny seeing Godzilla sprinting. He’s just doing a 100 meter dash while being huge.

Also I wouldn’t say the entirety of King of the Monsters was ruined my the trailer, at least not for me. I didn’t think that shot was of Mothra dying, I don’t think I noticed thermonuclear Godzilla, I didn’t think that was serizawa dying. I watched the movie and still really enjoyed it

I literally watch all the GxK tv spots 💀 and idc im still watching it as if I never saw the tv spots! Just subscribed

I have to assume this only applies to the theorist type fans, who analyze and break down every detail of every shot, frame by frame, to get the details. For the rest of us, we just see a bunch of random flashes of color and chaotic movement and destruction, like it's a Michael Bay Transformers movie.

I read something years ago that movie studies have seen studies that by showing people what their going to see,it somehow allows people to be comfortable in buying tickets.

I don’t really blame them for showing like little parts of shimo because I’m pretty sure Evan before the first or second trailer same out playmates though it was a good idea to just have the toys already in stores 💀

GxK honestly did pretty well with not showing everything. Lots of surprises in that film for me! And they barely showed anything in the Egypt fight

I'm glad somebody shares my point of view. That being I like hype but not many spoilers in the form of TV spots or foreign trailers. I think these spoilers have to stop on all platforms because that is what hurts a film's profit. I get roping in an audience, but don't spoil everything in the trailers and leave us with the only new scenes being that with the humans.

Anyways uh you earned a sub I changed my mind, i watched the movie Skar king was very unexpected he is so goddamn mean in this movie he is using pain to control shimo and is laughing at kong for using a metal tooth but later on in the final battle he lost his tooth and kong was just doing this sorta giga chad smirk but still he is more agile then i have ever expected.
