If we bring this girl to Australia we would have the Housing and Homeless Crisis sorted within a couple years. She could teach others. People just need a Safe Space out of the weather. This is far better than surviving in a tent or swag, under a bridge or in a car. If someone could grant plots of acres in forestry or scrublands, and the houses were deemed to be 'structurally sound', the folk currently suffering in our so-called first world Countriy of Australia, and being ignored by the Government, (except to be told to be elsewhere anywhere but not where they can be seen), could access these dwellings and grow vegies together to help their food supply. If for every 10 dwellings in a group, a proper Community Kitchen toilet/ Showers Amenity Block could be centralised. With the surrounding area being the Community Garden. People are not realising how bad the situation is, even though it has been on the news time and time again. This affects me personally because one of my nieces got evicted because she couldn't pay her rent (and yes it was her own fault), and now lives rough and had to give custody of her 9 yr old daughter to her estranged forner Partner and his family. A man in Melbourne bought an acre of land and built a number of " Tiny Houses" in it with the Central Kitchen Lounge and Amenities Building. Charged $50 a week and said the people could live there until they got things together, and could get a job or a better place to live. But at least they had sonewhere safe and a permanent address in order to access welfare.
