A Big Mac meal here in Arkansas in the States is about $10, if you dont upsize it, so yes it is still more expensive, but we arnt paying $6 or 7.

I just came back from Switzerland McDonald's and the difference is they make everything fresh unlike the US Mc Donald's which mass produces burgers and stored so the burger is not as fresh in America. Also had the apple pie and it was like a homemade slice of apple pie, instead of the gross flat apple pie we get in America.

How's that expensive, that is a price I kinda expect at every mcdonalds I go to anywhere in europe and ketchup package for only 30 cents that's actually very cheap I would expect and am used to paying around 90 cents for a ketchup.

ive been in that mc many times haha its the closest one the zürich bahnhof but to be honest i dont go to mcs at all anymore theres just so many better options

as a swiss person, this is why i stopped eating at big fast food chains like mc or bk, value absolutely isn't there. sadly most other options are overpriced as well here.

As an Indo-Swiss i find this very offensive, especially when it comes from people in the west, i can understand folks from south asia, latin america as the currency is very low compared to value but americans coming here and complaining about food being expensive is just not right. If you have come to switzerland that means you can afford it besides the currency is almost on par with the CHF, besides minimum wage in Zurich is 23 a hour compared to america which is probably 16 or 17$. Finally why would anyone come to Switzy and look for macdonalds, i mean havent you americans had enough of that in your own country. My advice to anyone visiting switzerland is please carry some of the main essentials that you tend to have on a regular basis eg : pre made tea or coffee, nuts, raisins, it will keep your energy going durin g the day when you are travelling. The other day i heard another couple complaining they spent 150$ on a burger meal in grindelwald, what do you expect??? Its Grindelwald, you are asking for it when you go to places like Grindelwald, St Mortiz or Gstaad.
