In order for the plants in the garden to grow large and strong at first, they need support in the form of pegs. But when they grow, a taller trellis is required.
And this pleasure is not cheap; even a small one costs more than a thousand.
The cheapest way to make such a structure is to use trimmed branches from trees. Every spring we prune plum and pear trees, their branches are straight, reach a height of up to 2 meters, the thickness is approximately the same 1.5 cm - a good size for weaving a decorative structure.
I have prepared a whole bunch of them, which will definitely come in handy for future creations.
In spring, when nature comes to life, you just want to do something new in the garden to decorate the landscape design.
Pyramid-shaped stands look very beautiful. Climbing plants like clematis weave along them. I made one for myself from cut branches. It is better to take dried sticks, as they tend to decrease in diameter and this will weaken the bundle.
1) For the base, I took 4 branches and tied them at the top with twine. You can use wire.
2) Then she put them on a level place and spread the sticks, forming a cone.
3) Now you need to fasten the vertical supports. To do this, I cut 4 branches of the same length with pruning shears and tied them to the support below. Next, you can make several such rows in height.
4) On each side I tied 2 more branches crosswise.
5) It is better to tie all the links together - one holds, the other ties.
6) When the support acquired its appearance, each place of the ligament was re-tied, thereby making the structure stronger.
I really liked how it turned out. This is the case when you want to say: “You can make a tree happy and a tree can make you happy.” After all, you won’t feel such pleasant energy from any natural material.
If you want, you can find material right under your feet to create masterpieces that will decorate and ennoble any area.
All the best!
