The electric motors on Hybrid cars have 100% torque from 1 RPM... should be pretty good? Better than the all-gas version anyway.

I was riding in one of these going uphill and it's not a problem. My only concern is snow and ice with this car, that's it! When the car starts going uphill the gas motor switches right on, and you can hear the torque starting to kick in. But I'm very confident if you were to drive this car on a snowy road, it could be a real issue from the lack of power in the rear wheels..

Actually it does. It indicates hard and soft plastic surfaces. The hard plastic surfaces will be easy to scratch and is a cheaper compound.
