Not me, over 800 battles in mine, and 3 marked with probably the most consistent games I've had. The fucking T-22 on the other hand, my armor will never work like when Qb showcased him just sitting sideways and bouncing everything. Plus if I do get to shoot my fucking gun, half of them leave the reticle completely

Last i played, its more pinacle of everything wrong in the game...one side has better rng on the required pixel snipes, 1 side has full field mod loadout and other barely has full modules nevermind bounty...and crew skills, 5 skill crews vs 3 skill crews is also massive gap

and how many battles you had with 0 damage? We all have bad games/RNG/team.

I think it was one of the only tanks I ragesold after getting ammo racked in 1 or 2 shots.. I guess if you can play renegade you can play this.. I can't really play either..

That was vague and entirely incorrect. If you have the luxury to hide for the whole battle like Pub players then yes and even then it's marginally effective at best. Aside from that top Achilles heel the E5 would be a very well rounded vehicle.

That is mainly a heavy tank issue. You just turn kinda useless when you are uptiered, unless you are a tier 9 with tier 10 lvls of pen. Heavy tanks have usually higher alpha than meds, but are worse in everything else gun wise. They trade for it and in result, get better armor and a higher alpha. Now the issue is, what is that good for when you get uptiered? You a lot of time lack the penetration to contest even +1 tiered heavies, you lack the dpm to trade with them and you are forced to fire gold, but you will still get smacked. Mediums in that regard can still so ok, since they generally have the better pen, mobility and accuracy, while their dpm doesn’t take such a huge hit. They get the better camo and view range. In short, their role doesn’t change, they are supposed to flank and support the other tanks in the game. Heavies sadly lose their whole use and just become HP points to farm for the enemy team. Mind you, that’s in general, stupid stuff like BZ176 do well even when uptiered, since it’s a premium. Renegade can do well because it has the dpm. 252U can work in tier 9, since the chasis is basically tier 9, etc. That brings us to another issue, what is the point of this game anymore? To suffer in horrible stock tanks? Let’s be honest, even when fully researched, tech tree tanks are worse than the premium ones. Even if they were on par, you lose a ton of credits if you don’t have a good game, which you won’t have if you are stock or uptiered (which you mostly are). Sorry for the vent, I’m just frustrated by this game. I just want to have fun, play the game and drive my favorite vehicles, instead I am frustrated and getting outperformed unless I play a nonsensical made up premium vehicle from Wargaming. At this point, f2p is pretty much an intro into the game, while the rest of the content is locked behind a paywall. Unless you are good like for example QB is, having a completely f2p account is bordering pointless. How would you like to fix it, at least to some regard? I would like to hear your opinion. I believe premium ammunition should be reworked (not sure how, maybe lower/higher alpha AND changed pen values depending on it), maybe the older vehicles should get buffed. Tech trees should definitely be reworked ASAP, by removing pointless grindy modules, like an additional gun that is just a stepping stone and isn’t offering an option instead off the top gun on a vehicle. Maybe remove tiering system all together and make a rank based system like in War Thunder? That might be dumb, but would feel great to just avoid actually playing some of the tech tree vehicles… Again, sorry for the rant, I will be happy to read your response

Well, even the medium tanks suffer when ending up in +2 tier matches as their performance is relative to the team's composition. Their guns, mobility and camo work only if the maps allow some sort of maneuvering otherwise, due to the general performance of the up tier vehicles, it's hard to move unnoticed. I thought about how the "fun" could be improved in WoT and I think the solution is very complex as it needs multiple simultaneous changes and not one or another. Amongst them I would reduce the damage differences for same caliber guns when going up in tiers. For example, have a 105mm gun do the same damage at tier 6 and tier 10 and not go 300, 320, 360 or the 122mm go from 370 to 390 and 440. This way the tier 10 could have better DPM (it needs to feel like an up tiered vehicles) but not flat out better damager per shot and better DPM as it takes away any challenge and makes the mistakes in front of lower tiered opponents less impactful as even when getting flanked it means that it can shoot its way out of trouble. Another change would be the reduction of the HP percentage increase from tier 7 and up. If you look at how slow the HP increases up to tier 7 and then explodes when going to tiers 8, 9 and 10 it's ridiculous! The tier 10 tanks look like minibosses when fighting with a tier 8... They should have more HP, as expected but not THAT much more. Due to the high HP amount, flanking a tier 10 in a tier 8 doesn't pose that much of a challenge as the T10 can just shrug it off. Rebalance the tanks so that there's no tank that can do it all! For example, the guns should not have great gun handling, great DPM and great pen at the same time! Make a formula or manually tune the guns so that you can have only 2 of the 3 features on any given tank. The same for the hull behaviour: do not allow a tank to have great mobility, great armor, great viewrange and great camo. Have only 2 out of the 4 features. The list can go on but these changes should be applied to the premium tanks as well. Otherwise it would be pointless to change the tanks that nobody plays and call it a day! I mean, buffing/nerfing Panther 2 while Bourrasque remains unchanged will hardly make any difference in the "fun" factor of any given battle in which the 2 are opposed.

I liked the M103 the most. E5 is bad with its low alpha dmg and giant turret weakspot.

@@1255XLim only at the T32 currently, but the T1 Heavy is quite good, so is M6 that is basicly meta at tier 6, the T29 has been nerfed but still seems quite good and the T32 feels really good to play. turret armor works well, even in higher tier games.

Sc will still be one of the best. Pretty much still the same tank with 0,7 secs slower reload

Just like jwill said it will remain one of the best even after nerf, obviously now it wont be any better then its competitors such as e5 and 60tp

The E5 is not like the other noob-friendly heavy tanks, it took me hundreds of battles in it to actually get barely decent in it. I don't have any significant talent in WoT I am just a Gold 2 pleb, lol. But that's why I love the tank, the massive amount of tank-awareness in your angling, positioning, and your latitude to your enemy and general awarness you need to just make this thing work is a challenge in it self.
