That’s how i had an experience. Made a ground blind and stayed inside for a couple of hours. That’s how a fooled a Sasquatch. It was a big male. And i wasn’t really afraid. And it was quite an experience. And to actually hear him talk. It was totally different. Something that i won’t forget. Wonderful documentary!

Glad to hear you say "amber colored eyes". In 1975 my best friend and I had 2 of them walk up to our camp and stand there 25 to 30 feet away and just watch us. They were so close to us that we could see the blood vessels in the whites of their eyes. And the colored part of their eyes? We've both always called it "amber". They stood there for a long time- 10 to 15 minutes, and then they just walked away. Neither one of us had ever heard of Bigfoot or Sasquatch. We had no idea what we were looking at.
@salishsasquatch2 місяці тому
Wow! Sounds like their behavior! What did the face look like?
@loghog4392Місяць тому
We just couldn't tell. It was dark. They were behind some brush and despite the leaves being off for the winter, the brush blocked a lot. All we had for light was the fire. I did start my motorcycle (Honda XL 125) but the headlight just lit up the brush more. They didn't flinch when I started my bike. Deep forest duff so we couldn't find any kind of foot or hoof prints in the morning. I'm a 65 year old timber faller and have spent my life living in logging camps. I've seen a lot in my years but those eyes... that's the only time I've ever seen anything like that. I'm going skiing today with that same best friend of over 50 years. @@salishsasquatch

@loghog4392 I was camping alone on a logging job I skidded on in 1990. Right beside the haul road. There was a ravine across the road. Middle of the night something came down the draw screaming like a woman on fire. At the same time, another one was coming up the draw screaming in the same way. They met opposite my camp, Stopped screaming and started breaking wood. I screamed at them get the f out of here. They did.

Scott is a good friend of mine and I've known him since 2006. He's had some stories that he's told me over the years that seemed outlandish and frankly downright unbelievable at times, but I've never found him to be anything but 100% truthful and honest. Over time, I've eventually experienced and even seen many of the things he's told me about in his "outlandish" stories. This guy is the real deal and if he says it happened, believe me, it did!

When I was a teenager I was doing some fencing at my aunt's farm. I was a long way out from any homes at this point. I was inside a small treeline between a large field and where I was fencing while I was working. About an hour into fencing, I started to hear a muffled sound behind me in the trees of something mimicking the sound of me hammering. It sounded like something was trying to copy the hamming sound I was making by hitting a large log against a tree. I stopped after hearing it but when I continued it continued. I was pretty concerned at that point so I slinked my way back out and back to my aunts. I told my aunt's friend and he grabbed his rifle and came up to help me finish. It was strange for sure. I guess it WAS possible someone could be pranking me, but pretty unlikely as my family was pretty religious and not really the personality type.

I am living west of the Northern Elwha river, Olympic Peninsula. That female sound, was it a "weeeep" with whistle on the "P" in weep? I have heard a couple chatting between the quarry pond next to our house, to the deep groaning male down by the river, a few hundred yards away. Also, a baboons or gorilla bark that shook the ground.

If its just visual evidence that you want ; the Pattersom Gilmen film has never been disputed. it has in fact undergone forensic study and stands today as the single most confirmed visual evidence;( the thing is that digital today is so sophisticated that mimicry is far too easy) .The second biggest evidence that has come to light is Ron Mooreheads Sierrna Sounds.Extended vocalizations on cassette tape; Again, older tech like this isn't easy to tamper with at all. Unlike todays copy and paste deep fake tech . After listening to hundreds of accounts on Sasquatch Chronicles there is just such a massive amount of first hand witness accounts that the question to me is no longer ' do they exist ?" But who are WE in relationship to these mysterious beings??

Good stuff here, BIG thanx to S.S. and to Scott, always a pleasure. They built a blind?...so funny. Sasquatches first hear you come in, then they smell that you're still around. Fact: Humans in the woods are MUCH louder than they realize, talking, walking, sneezing, coughing, even breathing. Plus, there is nothing in the woods, besides other humans, that smells like shampoo, conditioner, lotion, after shave, hand and laundry soap, even mouth wash and toothpaste. In fact, even when a vehicles engine is turned off, the gas, oil and exhaust smells linger, but the brake pads and tire smell never do, except below 50 F +/-. Scott can verify all this. To be honest, I think her bright red hair freaked out the Sasquatch...it was running away screaming, "Leprechaun! Leprechaun!"...hahahaha
@salishsasquatch3 місяці тому
My brother went to the Appalachian trail where he stayed for 6 months. After leaving, he caught a bus and said that everyone smelled horrible. He was sick from the smell of detergents and perfumes. You’re right about Sasquatch being aware of this, I imagine they can smell us even when we are fragrance free. Thank you for the comment

Great reporting! One question, about their firing as Scott Taylor recalls, because they did not want that story to get out? On it's merits it makes little sense to me. Firing someone because they responsibly reported on activity around the area they were hired to protect seems really harsh.
@salishsasquatch2 місяці тому
Unfortunately, it is in the best interest of logging companies to keep the subject hidden. Do you remember what happened to Oregon’s economy when the spotted owl was declared a threatened species? It destroyed the economy overnight. Imagine the implications of “finding Sasquatch”

@salishsasquatch2 місяці тому
I think humans do belong in the forest, in nature. Camping is one of the most important things to me. As long as you have respect and leave the forest in it’s natural state.
@Sea-xr8zdМісяць тому
I get what you’re saying - people being in the forest camping and being respectful of nature is different than people clear-cutting, clearing forest habitat for subdivisions etc. On Sybilla’s UKposts (Sketching Encounters) channel someone made the comment about a friend of his going hunting and finding a cave with a large well-made ‘nest-like’ bedding area inside. He decided he would urinate on it, for whatever pathetic excuse/reason, and the Sasquatch chased and frightened them out of the forest. Unfortunately not all of us behave or conduct ourselves respectfully. I like to think most of us do show respect but those that don’t, really live their lives differently than we do and have significant negative impacts on nature and what lives in nature.

@Sea-xr8zdМісяць тому
There are people who have told of their experiences. Police officers, truckers, military, hunters. I’ve never witnessed Sasquatch or Dogman but if others have, I’m not going to doubt their experience. If you haven’t “seen” a Sasquatch but believe they exist, it seems odd to then say ‘oh, but Dogman, no they doesn’t exist because I’ve never seen one and that’s too far-fetched and there’s no film of them walking about’. There are many animals thought to be extinct for decades, no doubt people who said they saw such animals in the wild were initially doubted as well. Just my observations.

Some of these stories are absolutely hilarious. I was just telling my son how unbelievable it is to see how some adults can fabricate a fear in their mind from sleeping in the forests etc. to the point of fleeing like a child. It would have or at least could have been helpful if parents told their children throughout the generations and within culture that the hairy apeman stories were similar to that of Santa except one was to keep them safe and close rather than lost in the forest and perhaps even being eaten by actual wildlife while everyone is familiar with the reasoning for old Saint Nick. Regardless as adults we have the ability to separate fact from fiction with simple evidentiary proofs, but yet some will continue to allow things like haints etc. to materialize in their brain to the point of hysterical belief...perhaps it's an adrenaline rush for the mentally impaired... IDK as some of these people seem almost normal and certainly harmless. People need to spend more time in the great outdoors with their kids from an early age and explain to them what actual sounds are and that Santa nor his reindeer reside there...nor do haints or aliens from far away galaxies.

@@salishsasquatch Yes because I have been a fictionaholic since the 70's and I watch everything in the paranormal, sci-fi, horror, thriller genre, but I know it's entertainment only. It's the what if's about the entire fictional topics that make it exciting, but when we have adults all over the world that actually believe these things are real it kind of becomes comical rather than thriller etc. As far as a bigfoot for example goes...well there would be fossil records, actual prints, genuine photo's/ films, scat etc. It's the same thing with aliens. Very, very interesting subject to tell around the campfire (like bigfoot stories) but absolute fiction all the same as there is absolutely no way they could get to our little planet unless they are very close and their planet is invisible to us. I'd really like to find a logical explanation for everything, but there are some things we simply don't yet understand such as orbs...no clue what they are or if they are intelligent or simply seemingly so, but one thing is for certain...they are natural to our surroundings and not from hundreds of thousands of years travel to us. I personally hold many unexplained experiences from the seventies to date, but I don't jump to conclusion even when it's the popular thing to do as it's not logical. I'll continue to watch these type things because I have had a love of fiction for the past 50 years, but I won't pretend I didn't grow out of the fear of these things being a reality simply because it's a favorite past time.
