It's incredible when you think about fans setting up protest clubs and making them successful as well on a low budget. You can't help, but take your hat off to them for the success they've achieved.

Its no longer a protest, its a club in its own right. If the Glazers sold up/walked away FCUM would still exist.

The AFC Wimbledon story is even more important, taking a club from its home city to another against the will of the fans. They made it back into the league and long may they continue to inspire other clubs who have fallen out like Bury.

There is something very punk rock if you like about saying "we're not happy with the status quo at our club, so we're going to create one of our own entirely from scratch." You might not have the glitz and glamour of the Premier League but you definitely have the sense of accomplishment of building something with your own hands, against the odds.

Whilst I'm not an MUFC fan I go sometimes to FC. It's a wonderful community club with a good ethos, good atmosphere and an affordable and great day out. I do wonder what would happened if Big United got a decent owner? How much would that affect FC? I think to grow it may have to develop to attract fans who may not ever identify as MUFC fans? I think there are FC fans who have never been MUFC fan but admire the ethos and values of the club.

I had the chance to visit the club in 2019. I was a journalist back then and I was actually invited by Man United to cover the derby. I spent five days in Manchester and visiting FCUM was the best experience. I was welcomed with such warmth and open arms. I wasn't treated as a person you do business with. I was treated as a friend.

Quality video! Seen them down at Newcastle Town in 2006 and a few times at Stafford Rangers in recent years, great atmosphere wherever they go, always wanted to tick the ground off my list and can't wait to do so 2nd to last game of the season! Also South Shields would be another fascinating club to visit from the same division, not a protest club but they're fan base is also huge for the level!

They played at my local club (Belper) a few weeks ago and I found myself talking to one of their board. Good club and fans. They bought a lot down on a Tuesday night (and won 😢). Non league is a great experience. Going to away matches on a coach with the players, and celebrating a win with them in the way back. Premier League is great for TV, but I can't see myself going to "big" football in person again.

Love this content. These videos and the Scottish & Irish football are real football. Much better than the Premiership. One question I want to ask FC Utd fans is if the Glazers sell up will the same hunger and desire remain if they get owners who are more fan friendly? not that I think it will be the case, I think the new owners will be just as greedy. I loved the Aussie lad when he said "the vulgarity of the premiership".

We are a “disputed” 2nd oldest club in the world but factually the oldest club in London. Currently in the process of building our own stadium after 22 years of ground sharing with Bromley FC. Great content! You have to admire their ethos even if you're not anyway affiliated to Manchester United. Unreal facilities for their level, massive fan base and should at least be in the league above but they're not, it's a decent day/evening there as an away fan, good beer and three points!

I'd love to see more videos at this level. I follow South Shields in the same division and we have seen massive progress in recent years, both on the pitch, up the divisions and the club and ground itself has been massively developed. regularly getting 2.5k fans to games

FC Utds Stadium is built on a Old Cycle Speedway track !! I spent many hours falling off my bike on it. Part of the terracing was formerly part of Northwich Victoria's Dane Bank terrace until 9/10 years ago.

All the time I watch the videos about FCMU I'm drawn to giving up my season ticket and watch FCMU. I started watching United back in 1966. I want that feeling back.

As a Newcastle fan who has suffered 15 years of non-investment, exploitation of loyalty and multiple relegations, I pine for the days when it was men from down the coal pits who made up the backbone of Northeast football at the highest level, even after the events of the past year and subsequent renaissance. Times change, and unfortunately the corporate game has taken over. Getting a sovereign wealth fund from a certain oil rich Gulf state is an unfortunate reality for us to remain of the historical stature we're at and fanbase we have, notwithstanding the absence of success. But I love grassroots football. That's why I love Gateshead and Spartans

Altrincham FC are a pretty cool club based in South Manchester, they hold the record for most FA Cup giant killings by a non league and they’ve also took Everton and Tottenham to a replay. Well worth checking out if you ever get chance!

Great video! I would just like to correct the fan talking about the Glazers putting money in the club. They have never invested ONE PENNY OF THEIR OWN MONEY! Whenever they "invest" in the club, it's basically releasing money generated by the club itself! Glazers OUT OUT OUT OUT OUT!

It was about time I saw a video on FC! Even though I am a United fan, the Glazers are not my cup of tea and I want them out as much as the next person. Any chance of a go at AFC Liverpool? They have a similar background to FC United (to protest the American ownership of Liverpool FC, and also for fans who were priced out of the Premier League)

While the odds of it happening are pretty low, it would be cool if FC United of Manchester were to end up meeting Manchester United in the FA Cup. I'm a Millwall fan since 1973 but lived in Manchester for 12 years and witnessed the birth of this fantastic community team, and went along if and when I have time. I see them a few times annually and love it! My older daughters live nearby and love the team and everything it stands for. Real fans, real grass roots football, democratic values, where it's about friends, community, belonging, unlike everything that Glazer United stands for (and the mugs who support that nonsense). All power to FC United!

You should come to Scarborough for a game! Scarborough Athletic are currently in Vanarama National League North. Just got promoted from the league where FCUM are. A fan owned club as well with great atmosphere, lovely fans and just opened a huge bar! I would be able to show you around the ground at a game and maybe even get the chairman talk to you!

There’s a brilliant video of FC fans constantly singing at Halifax. Great use of anarchy in the uk. I am not a MUFC fan at all; but the glazers have stolen some of soul of English football with their business model.

The glazers didn’t buy Man Utd. They borrowed money against Utd thus putting the club in debt. At no time did they use their own money.

Ive been a Manchester city fan of 40 years. Im exile Mancunian what lives in Scarborough now. My last City game was about 3 years ago. It was first game of the season v Norwich. We were reigning premier League champions, and the atmosphere was pitful. And 50 pound for the privilege. That was it for me. Sick of ludicrous ticket prices. Fed up sat with corporate and day trippers who only jumped on the football bandwagon after Euro 96. Fed up with silly kick off days and times to accommodate Sky and TNT sport's. It was done with an heavy heart and maybe living 100 odd miles away made the decision easier. But i stopped enjoying the match day going experience. Its not the game i grew up with going to Maine Road stood in the Kippax in the 80s and 90s even the early 00s. I watch none league Scarborough now!!!

I hope the players see the passion associated with Manchester United, hopefully someday we get to see FC United of Manchester vs Manchester United in an FA Cup Tie...would be something

We (1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig) played against United of Manchester on May 12th, 2006. The game, in the Bruno Plache Stadium, ended 4:4. At 1:58 min, on the right side, you can see part of the pennant of my favorite home team, 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig.

As a Newcastle fan I can really respect this. Ashley was bad enough, but now that we're funded by the Saudi state, my love of the club and of football in general has really waned, as I find I can't put my enjoyment of the sport over my morals. More and more these days it feels like money and rampant capitalism is ruining everything I once enjoyed. Soulless is exactly the right word.

tbh im a blue.. but have noticed FC Utd climb the leagues year after year.. there is just something about grassroots football, some people & fans there at FC utd have seen it from the beginning and to be where they are now is quite an achievement in the time they have been around ! Got to say grats & good luck..

I love this motto (I won't say 'slogan' because that sounds like some sort of marketing), "Making friends, not millionaires". Just imagine them entering the EFL one day, maybe League Two or League One, a bit like AFC Wimbledon...followed by attendances of 5,000 or 10,000 in an expanded Broadhurst Park. This would be awesome. If you ask me, these two corporations from Manchester playing in the Premiership, run by billionaires from the US (the Glazers) or from the Middle East (City), don't deserve to be supported in any way. Aside from FC United, I've always preferred the clubs in the outskirts of Manchester such as Oldham Athletic or Stockport County, not least because of their home stadiums, Boundary Park and Edgeley Park, which are so lovely and still spread the charm of classic English (or British) football grounds. if I'm honest I watch Dereham town as much as I can here in Norfolk even though I'm a season ticket holder at Norwich city just because you get a better raw atmosphere even with only 250 at most home games yes the football is not as good but the experience on a match day is better and you kind of enjoy the fact that you being there paying to watch makes a difference whee as at Norwich you feel the club really don't value you as another fan will step in if you don't go.

FC United of Manchester call themselves FC United, the Reds or the Rebel Reds. They now have their own ground as well. I'm so glad you're back covering non-league of England. I have recently made some non-league videos on my channels and have done some groundhopping due to you. I will be leaving Derby in a few weeks which is making me a bit sad as I'll leave my club and the surrounding non-league clubs I've come to adore over recent seasons but I am going to Newcastle University and potentially thinking of going to see some non-league games in the North East so I will hopefully meet you one day when you come down to Newcastle.

The issue is corruption and oil clubs. Not the Glazers. They have spent a ridiculous amount of money for a non-oil club owner

If more United fans joined FC then it would be amazing. Crowds of 5/ 6 k at Broadhurst would send a real message.
