Can't believe Zoey Deschanel got one of her starts with the Offspring.

My older sister bought me this for Christmas when I was 10. It was my first CD. Listen too it non stop for years. Im 35 now and just realizing I married one of these.

I'm 40. This came out in my senior year of high school. I loved "Americana." It spoke to me. I love "Why Don't You Get a Job" cuz anyone with a boomer father might be able to relate to being asked this constantly.

My brother used to listen to them all the time when he was at high school and I was at school, and I'm glad for it. I miss him, he's not dead tho, but he's changed a lot, I guess I miss the old him, the old us.

I remember watching the "Making the Video" of this on MTV when I was just discovering rock music in like 3rd grade. Maaaan those GOLDEN YEARS of watching MTV aaaaall dayy, back when they actually played music videos and did not glamourize pregnant 16 year olds or tanned douchebags.. maan I miss those times, spending time in my room alone or with my best friends listening to music and watching videos; that's what it was all about.. and when a shitty song came along, we had the cd player ready and muted the tv until the next good one. What I would give to make these times as great, the 90s were such a great time to be a kid, and to be alive, rock was mainstream and punk played at parties... maan where did we go wrong...

when Zooey was younger, she always played characters who seemed really down to earth (Elf, Hitchhiker's, etc). Then she became a manic pixie dream girl and twee and all that. I miss old Zooey.
