"Sometimes when i miss you i put those records on" isn't sad how you end up only having some pictures and videos of the person that meant a lot to you and just rewatch them and hope you could go back to the days you were so happy together? And even though you delete them, without even wanting to, you remember the memories you had with him/her, all the promises he/she broke, all the i love you more fights, the hours spent on facetiming each other, the way he/she would always make you smile even at the worst, the way that person you are thinking of right now was making you feel when was only giving you a hug or saying i love you. And now, he/she is just a stranger who knows every litlle thing about you and vice versa..

Back in August me and my ex of nearly 1 year got broken up due to him cheating. It was such a dark time for me and I thought nobody could love me. I was at the lowest point I’ve ever been in my life like I thought of ending it which sounds so dramatic, but this boy used to be my everything. Him cheating ruined me. I stayed in bed all day, lost so much weight due to not eating, not having motivation to shower or anything. I was so broken. Seeing the person you thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with ruin everything just like that.. It felt like someone put a weight on my chest and I couldn’t breathe. I had panic attacks the first two weeks of school. Couldn’t talk to anyone about it because I felt so alone. I remember going to the bridge and just looking down while listening to this cover. I remember it started raining so drastically and I just stood there listening to this while crying. My heart was broken. It’s been 3 months and yes I’m still hurting, but I got trough the worst. I’m able to focus more in school and I’m able to smile too! Heartbreak doesn’t last forever. It makes you so much stronger and makes you realize things! The only thing that can heal you is time.
