That was so good! I just didn't like how Remus is like "half werewolf" when they arrive. When he is he is werewolf form, he cant control himself, and he cannot change at will... besides that, ir was really cool!

And yes, we knew some people would not be huge on the change we've made to Lupin but our director really wanted to change some things and in this vision of Potterworld, he wants Lupin to be able to control aspects of the change, however on a full moon is when he cannot control it and goes a bit wild!! Actually I liked this version of him. It looks a lot like the show Teen Wolf where the characters can transform just there face and hands to fight better.

This is bloody amazing, I've never seen such an accurate casting. The first part with Rosier and the fight was incredible, the Marauders were very in character in my opinion. The part with them as a young boys is supposed to be a different version of a reason why Peter later betrays them, I think.

Story looks interesting, because Rowling told us just a little about the death eater Rosier. I also like to see the marauders helping each other in a fight.

Interesting video, keep on doing them. I have some doubts, though. Remus had not tried to become an animagus. His friends became ones, cause of him being a werewolf. Also, James and Sirius messed up sometimes with other people - but with Peter, one of their friend? I don't think so.

I agree i dont think they were this severe bullies.it was just snapes view point we saw in the harry potter books.i mean it was like if harrys son saw only the sectemsepra scene from half blood prince and decided that harry was evil and draco was a hero. I think as an avid marauders era fan that james,sirius and peter and remus were a cool popular group and not bullies just true and good friend

Great video! Those first few minutes were truly amazing. Loved the characterization of James and Sirius. Rosier was crazy and scary; calling James and Sirius blood traitors, then addressing James by his first name and bringing up his son. I was thrown off by Lupin being able to turn into a werewolf. I hope you are able to raise enough funding to continue.

Lupin... i knew it might be controversial to change it up but in our world, he can part change at will but transforms fully during a full moon against his will! Thats the explanation! And unfortunately, we were not able to raise enough funds in either of the 3 rounds of funding :*( so at the moment we won't be able to complete it...please do share the video with family and friends and hopefully enough people watch it that donations start flying in!

Wow! This is honestly awesome, can't believe it has so little likes and views. Kinda wish Sirius's and Remus's relationship was explored a bit more (yes, die hard wolfstar fan here) but overall this is absolutely amazing, one of the best Marauders fan films I've seen. Can't wait for episode 2!

This was REALLY good! I was surprised by the changes for Remus but then this does sound cooler as he can have a half werewolf form to fight in? Heck yeah! Also I always lived the concept of Pettigrew being that one friend who was bullied by James and Sirius which is why he brought their downfall but spared Remus when he could have easily got him locked up simply for being an unregistered werewolf. This twist on Rosier, giving him a hint of craziness that not all death eaters shared as mainly Bella and Barty were known for it, I never thought of that it's quite interesting

This is fantastic! Your version of James (the older one, especially) looks almost exactly like I had imagined when I first read the series! Also, I love the costumes of the young Marauders! While I adore the Hogwarts uniform worn from Prizoner of Azkaban to Deathly Hallows, the uniform from the first two films is my favourite. I’ve always wanted a replica of the older Hogwarts cloak/robe, but I’ve never been able to find one. Did you make your cloaks or source them elsewhere? Cheers!

The first part was really good. James looks so much like how I imagine Harry and James, and how they're described! But they did not bully Peter like that. They didn't like Snape because he was into the dark arts. Peter was their buddy and friends might tease and give each other a hard time but not cruel and nasty. Remus didn't stand up to them much either... And Peter admired the others and looked up to them. Remember the memory scene in Order of the Phoenix. So the whole scene with the kids was very inaccurate.

Thanks for your feedback! It's not meant to be accurate, it's meant to be a loose interpretation of events. The wonder of this is, we do not need to feed it to canon and can do what we would have done as writers. But we completely know and understand everything that's in the books. We simply chose not to tell everything as it is...we already have the books for that :) keep tuning in!!

Ok i enjoyed this a lot... For the First 7 minutes. Ok they were bullies, but there's no way i could ever believe young James and Sirius were so mean to Peter. Like, those spells are fucking traumatizing, especially on a young boy. I can Imagine Sirius doing them to Snape, Who was at school his worst enemy, maybe. And James was not dark like his friend (the Prank Sirius made to Snape was very dark) so here James would stop Sirius together with Remus, he wouldn't laugh. And sirius agreed with the potters to make peter the secret keeper, in fact he was the one who suggested it! he would never have done it if he saw Peter Just as a wimp coward! Peter was chosen because he was their friend, they cherished and trusted him! And peter- he was a Little shit Who liked to follow wizard more powerful than him Who protected him. There's no way he would stayed with James and Sirius if they were so cruel with him. I didnt like this at all. Its a shame, cause when they are adult their friendship Is portrayed well

We appreciate you taking the time to comment :) this is the beauty of creativity two people can love the same world and interpret it's writings in two completely different ways! Our writer read enough subtext within the writings of JK Rowling to see that this narrative was possible! James and Sirius were bullies and Peter was weak and a coward and the nature of man is that bullies will, whether friends or not, bully the weakest. Anyone who has been a child understands that even within a tight knit group of friends these things happen. Would they have regretted it as adults? Almost certainly! We hope you tune in again once we manage to get all the content out!!!

I can see them make fun of him Sometimes-its normal between boys- and i can see Sirius could be mean and with very dark humour, but not like this-this is Way too cruel. It seems to me that Who wrote this see James and Sirius as very bad people when they were young, which they were not. And peter as i said followed only who protected Him, so this doesnt even make sense. I didnt mean to be offensive, just i liked the First minutes so much, and then the last ones i was so disappointed that it left a pretty bad taste on me

Fan fiction is allowed to be off canon, I think this is a key thing you are missing. In fact we'd hazard a guess that most fanfiction is off canon ...because we just can't know all facts...even the Cursed Child has some very off canon elements. The person who wrote it doesn't think James and Sirius are bad people, they merely have a very different interpretation to you and neither can be confirmed correct because it has never been explicitly written. Once again, creativity allows our writer to have their interpretation and you can have yours and all will still be well in Potterworld

I read Fanfiction with ships and facts history Who are not Canon. But there are a few things that we knows are facts (such as Sirius Who suggested Peter as secret keeper and so yes, he didnt see him in this way- and Peter who only followed wizards Who protected him-so there's no way James and sirius were so mean to him) so what i'm criticizing Is going Out Of Character because it's a thing-the only one- i don't like and personally i avoid in Fanfiction, not because you can't do It. Of course you can. Anyone can do anything in Fanfiction, Out Of Character and Off Canon as much. I Just expressed why i didn't like the last minutes of the movie, the OOC. I know its personal, as many people can read OOC with no problems.

We absolutely love that you have your interpretation what we're trying to get to is that what's out of character to you isn't out of character to us. And that it's okay to disagree. If you don't read that subtext in their character but our writer does that's ok. Two people can read two different things without accusing the other that they are dead wrong. It's merely a difference of opinion:)
