When removing the flywheel you should leave the nut on crankshaft so you don't damage the threads hammering the wheel loose. And after all that work you should have put new piston rings main bearings and seals that bottom end sounds a little worn out.

The title of this video had me in stitches😂😂 He 'restores' an old Husky, strips it down, does nothing to it except splash sealant all over the place including the piston and both ports of the barrel, spray paints the barrel without blocking the ports off (bet that made the piston look new?), didnt set the rings up properly before installing the barrel, wrong sized key in the crank, no bar tensioner, paints it in the colour of goodness knows what saw manufacturer. I used the word 'restored' as a laugh as he restored absolutely zilch! Hes good..... NOT!!! 😂😂😂

You restore a non Stihl chainsaw and Stihl was impressed? What were they more impressed with? Was it blasting abrasive into the crank bearings then re-installing them without grease? Or was it the bathroom caulk you crammed into the cylinder head bolt holes? Maybe it was the heat treat on the rusty hardware? Oh no… it's gotta be when you didn't install the chain tensioner. For the little girls that pointed out I said “grease” instead of “oil”, I am sorry I misspoke. The point was you do not install crank bearings that were blasted with abrasive without cleaning and lubricating them, he did neither. Regardless, it doesn’t excuse nor justify the horrific “restoration” that was done or the lie that preceded it.

I’m all for reusing rather than letting things be wasted, but why on earth would you reuse rusty bolts instead of replacing them? Burning the rust off doesn’t mean the bolt isn’t weakened. Just replace all that hardware, if you really wanna avoid waste, melt the metal down or something, don’t cut corners though.
