P.O. Box 93, Toronto P
Toronto, ON, M5S2S6
------------------------------------------
Written, Directed, Produced, Edited and Sung by Mitchell Moffit.
Based on the "Can-Can" music, by Offenbach.
LYRICS:
There's Hydrogen and Helium
Then Lithium, Beryllium
Boron, Carbon everywhere
Nitrogen all through the air
With Oxygen so you can breathe
And Fluorine for your pretty teeth
Neon to light up the signs
Sodium for salty times
Magnesium, Aluminium, Silicon
Phosphorus, then Sulfur, Chlorine and Argon
Potassium, and Calcium so you'll grow strong
Scandium, Titanium, Vanadium and Chromium and Manganese
CHORUS
This is the Periodic Table
Noble gas is stable
Halogens and Alkali react agressively
Each period will see new outer shells
While electrons are added moving to the right
Iron is the 26th
Then Cobalt, Nickel coins you get
Copper, Zinc and Gallium
Germanium and Arsenic
Selenium and Bromine film
While Krypton helps light up your room
Rubidium and Strontium then Yttrium, Zirconium
Niobium, Molybdenum, Technetium
Ruthenium, Rhodium, Palladium
Silver-ware then Cadmium and Indium
Tin-cans, Antimony then Tellurium and Iodine and Xenon and then Caesium and...
Barium is 56 and this is where the table splits
Where Lanthanides have just begun
Lanthanum, Cerium and Praseodymium
Neodymium's next too
Promethium, then 62's
Samarium, Europium, Gadolinium and Terbium
Dysprosium, Holmium, Erbium, Thulium
Ytterbium, Lutetium
Hafnium, Tantalum, Tungsten then we're on to
Rhenium, Osmium and Iridium
Platinum, Gold to make you rich till you grow old
Mercury to tell you when it's really cold
Thallium and Lead then Bismuth for your tummy
Polonium, Astatine would not be yummy
Radon, Francium will last a little time
Radium then Actinides at 89
REPEAT CHORUS
Actinium, Thorium, Protactinium
Uranium, Neptunium, Plutonium
Americium, Curium, Berkelium
Californium, Einsteinium, Fermium
Mendelevium, Nobelium, Lawrencium
Rutherfordium, Dubnium, Seaborgium
Bohrium, Hassium then Meitnerium
Darmstadtium, Roentgenium, Copernicium
Ununtrium, Flerovium
Ununpentium, Livermorium
Ununseptium, Ununoctium
And then we're done!!

When I was in sec3 I had that one science teacher that I grew attached to. And for the simple reason I would never get bored in his classes. I am a 16 yo teenager who loves science, but I think it's sad, how today's most teens think loving science is "not cool". I used to spend hours just talking with him about anything, something I would've recently learned, a question, something that bother me ect. All I know is that I always had a certain thirst for the "mysteries of the universe" and that thirst would disappear for some time after each discussion. In my entire life, there was that one and only person who ever show me back the same passion as I have. These days I feel a bit lonely because I'm really into science again, but whenever I would start talking about random stuff, people, even my family and friends would either look at me like I'm some alien, either complitely not answer, or just try to lead the conversation toward another subject. I act like it doesn't bother me that much, but it's hard, to find someone who truly reflects the same genuine passion. Maybe I'm asking for too much, idk, but I'm still hoping I will get back those conversations I loved so much.

Xenon: Xenon is a chemical element with the symbol Xe and atomic number 54. It is a heavy, colorless, odorless, and tasteless noble gas that is more than four and a half times heavier than air. Xenon is found in trace amounts in Earth's atmosphere and in the gasses emitted by some mineral springs. Being an inert gas it has no luster , malleability or ductility and is also a very poor conductor of electricity. In addition to headlamps and ion drive engines, xenon is used for photographic flash lamps, bactericidal lamps (because it produces ultraviolet light), various lasers, moderate nuclear reactions, and motion picture projectors. Xenon can also be used as a general anesthetic gas. Bromine: Bromine is a chemical element with the symbol Br and atomic number 35. It's a volatile, red-brown liquid at room temperature that evaporates easily to form a similar-colored vapor. Bromine is denser than water and sinks in it. It has a bleach-like odor and dissolves in water. Bromide is a type of medication used to treat severe epilepsy, particularly causing myoclonic seizures. Bromide comes in two formulations: triple bromide (contains three different variations of bromide: ammonium bromide, potassium bromide and sodium bromide) and potassium bromide. The most well-known use of bromine is in making photographic films. Silver bromide is light-sensitive and is used to manufacture photography plates. Its microscopic particles, when exposed to light, undergo a change as a result of chemical reaction. Thulium: Thulium is a chemical element; it has symbol Tm and atomic number 69. It is the thirteenth element in the lanthanide series of metals. It is the second-least abundant lanthanide in the Earth's crust, after radioactively unstable promethium. It is an easily workable metal with a bright silvery-gray luster. Thulium is malleable and ductile, as well as being a good conductor. Thulium is used as a source of radiation from portable X-ray devices and in nuclear reactions. Despite being slightly expensive, superconductors of high-temperature use thulium. It is used for manufacturing ferrites and ceramic magnetic materials for microwave items. Mercury: Mercury is a chemical element with the symbol Hg and atomic number 80. It's also known as quicksilver or liquid silver. Mercury is a shiny, silver-white metal that's liquid at room temperature. It has a melting point of -38.9°C and a boiling point of 356.7°C. Mercury is the only metal that remains liquid at room temperature. It is used in older thermometers, fluorescent light bulbs and some electrical switches. When dropped, elemental mercury breaks into smaller droplets which can go through small cracks or become strongly attached to certain materials. Mercury is the only metal on earth that is liquid at room temperature. Liquid mercury is so slippery that it will fall your skin if you try to hold it. It is so heavy that 2 tablespoons of mercury weighs about one pound! Elemental mercury, if inhaled, can cause permanent lung damage and potential brain damage. Inorganic mercury can damage kidneys and cause blood loss. Organic mercury can damage your central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). Large amounts of mercury or long-term exposure can lead to death if not treated.

Two chemists walk into a bar. The first chemist asks for some H2O. The other chemist says, "I'll have some H20 too." The other chemist died. If you got this joke, then you probably have no social life. Don't worry, I don't have one either.
