ya! i think it might also good if people want to sell an item even though there's already a shop selling the same item. like, if there are two shops both selling wood, a person will probably just go to whatever shop is nearest to them. so, i think it's a little tougher to hold the monopoly on an item

Like bdubs knows “hmmm somethings up here, may as well lean into it for the content.” but it’s not like the whole thing was orchestrated and planned out (most likely). Ie, might not be how they’d play in a UHC, but still authentic personalities.

I think that for the copper level, you could make even more diamonds by selling each type of oxidization.

No, you sell the waxed copper blocks so that it's mildly more difficult to get the higher oxidization states... which are sold for slightly more diamonds.

The attic looks like a perfect place for the idea I put on the last video. I've even developed the lore a little. A redstone shop called the "redstone repeater" that is constantly out of stock when it's really a redstone themed hitman service to kill people with redstone traps and mob ambushes. You could have an dropper for ' redstone orders' that takes them out of sight.

You should make the attic a special deals room, basically have certain valuable items to buy there but limited supply. The only way for the hermits to know what is there is by frequently visiting your shop and be ready to spend because that item might be gone by the time they get back.

You should sell the copper the same way Pixlriffs does in the Empires SMP. Just sell them fully oxidized with wax, and people can buy them and deoxidize/wax it to their taste, and you don't have to make sure to collect an even supply of all types.

I am so incredibly amused. It’s episode 2 and there are 4 different Hermits who have all made honeycomb farms in order to get wax for candles, in an attempt to preempt other Hermits’ candle shops. I see no possible way for this to crash the wax economy.

One thing the attic needs is some cobwebs, it will really sell the attic vibe. And an armor stand would be cool, with a couple pieces of armor on it, but not a full set, like what's left when an adventurer retires after nearly dying.

You could make some kind of museum in the attic. You could put your relics in there, like the first diamond you got from Gem. Or a souvenir shop where you could sell something like custom banners representing copper, bees, candels or your beautiful face.

Everyone talks about builders like Bdubs, Scar, Keralis, fWhip, Sausage, Joel, Pearl, Gem, but Etho's the real source of inspiration here. :) Pearl also used noteblocks in her build, too.

No, I really don’t think that’s the case at all. The colors Bdubs chose were deliberate to represent rusting metal-whereas Etho’s colors did work together, but they weren’t chosen with the express purpose of representing a certain material.

Tango said during one of his Twitch streams(Which I suggest checking him out on Twitch if you haven't. His streams are fun) that he will come back to his Create series and that he loves it; but HermitCraft takes priority over it. Once he feels he is far enough into S8 to juggle both he'll return to it.

This is just random trivia, but I think the task master is inspired by a british show called literally Taskmaster, where celebrities get these random ridiculous tasks, like 'conceal this pineapple on your person', or having to run across an empty train station to ambush the presenter without him noticing them.
