Love the content, thanks for keeping it honest. I think Slugger is another great example of a youtuber who serves almost as an archivist for old Lego. I wish more people did content like that, there is so much interesting history in Lego's past.

That’s why I don’t enjoy Lego LAN review for Star Wars sets and other ones. They get massive boxes of free sets and I’m expected that they will keep their opinions completely honest and 100% fair? There will always be some bias towards the LEGO group at least in my opinion

We are at the birth of a new era for Lego reviews. As LAN takes over for people who make content for the release seasons, we are going to see more and more people take up the retrospective format to look at older products. The best example are, R.R. Slugger, Battle Peak and myself. What stands us 3 channels apart is the use of photography, stop motion, and research. Were not day one reviewers who make videos' that age like milk. I like to think of it like fine wine and evergreen. My logic with creating videos is, if it cant be evergreen why even make it.

Thanks for an informative video. There sure is an cultural dimension to reviews and social media accounts too. In general, American accounts tend to aim for larger collections/builds compared to European counterparts. I suppose that drives creators in the US to do more reviews in order to earn more from YT/META etc. In the end, this is connected to sustainability. That might be an angle to look at.

I just like to break up my thoughts into short sentences so they’re easy to remember, but then I look down at my script for the next sentence so that’s why I always cut
