Tobey's spiderman is really special to me. Growing up as 10 years old at that time wanting to be spiderman.

You think three actors in ten years is a lot there’s been like 500 batman actors in 20 years

Seeing all 3 of them swinging together and then landing on the Statue of Liberty..Just sent goosebumps up my arm..It was incredible!

All three have done an absolutely amazing job. Tom is so much like the comic but in my personal opinion Toby is the one true Spider-Man!

Would be awesome to see a Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie with Tom Holland,Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield...

I grew up with Tobey's version. Something about that was just right. That Spider-Man character was living in the real world facing real world problems while helping out others. Suits the slogan of "your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man". I think that emotional connection between us and the fictional Spider-Man character who was still having all sorts of humane problems just went under the drain with these newer movies. I still prefer Raimi's version. They emotionally connected so very well with me.

Every actor does a great job at the character the writers and producers gave them! It's weird to compare them when all of their stories are different, have different backgrounds and tell different messages. They've all done an amazing job as their unique versions of Spider-Man. I always think it's weird to talk about which one is the most "comic accurate" because you can tell that Tom Holland's Spider-Man is very different from the comics. Yes, the MCU is inspired by the comics, but it's not the comics and it never will be.

Watching all 3 together with their enemies brought me excitement I haven't felt in a movie EVER! I took my son to watch Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man in 2002 and almost 20yrs later bringing him and my other kids to watch the New Spider-Man was just Magical. One of the greatest movie experiences of all time. Gotta watch it in the Theater with family to fully enjoy it.

Personally I don't have any issue with Andrew's and Tom's Spider-Man but I really loved the Tobey's Spider-Man...even each character of Tobey's trilogy were go good :) Mr.Osborne, Harry, Dr. Optus, Aunt May , MJ and all of them 🙌

Tobey will always be the OG. Everyone after was great but the nostalgia from Tobey is unmatched

The Tobey films had a genuine feeling to them. Like it felt right, and the Tom ones are good but lack that feeling. Maybe it’s the big modern Hollywood effects but Tobey had that special something

No one will stop me from believing that all this was planned specifically for No Way Home... yes... a plan that spanned over 10 years. I love it

All three are great.... But for me personally.... Tobey was the original and my personal favourite. Andrew for some reason gets a lot of hate,but I thought he was excellent,had a lot of charisma and played the part very well (especially the first one). Tom is number 3 for me,not because I don't like him ( I think he's good)..but maybe it's because special effects have taken over from everything. I don't seem to have much empathy with Toms Spiderman like I did with Tobey and Andrew.

Tobey Maguire's trilogy cant be topped though. It started it all. It will always hold that good childhood nostalgia. Not to mention, had the best villains.

I grew up with Tobey's Spiderman but I still appreciate Andrew's and Tom's. All of them are great portrayal but nostalgia really hits different.

I grew up with Tobey's Spider-Man but I watched Andrew's in theaters Tasm1 and Tasm 2 I like Tom's because he was basically supposed to be based of the iron spider in the comics, but overall I love all 3 but Tobey is my favorite

Tom will probably be the last, only because he has Disney on his side. He’s the official Spider-Man in the Marvel universe, and if Disney buys the rights, they won’t be re-doing movies.

I think all 3 were terrific performers, Tom tho really sells that “I don’t understand what’s happening” character which makes the movie seem a bit more funny than it should be

Each actor offers something unique to the character Spider-Man an that’s why it’d be utterly amazing if we had Spider-Verse movie with all of them together.

Andrew Garfield movies get too much hate, personally I loved them.

I love them all but for me it is andrew garfield, i know a lot of people criticized the writing in his movies and I kinda get that but I live for his humour, his fight scenes, his witty comments but still managing to show the serious weight and responsibilitiy he had to carry. Andrew nailed the physical comedy, the way he moved was just soo special and unique to the other two.. he kinda made it completely his own, also his facial expressions idk i loved it all…I love his suit and his love story the most too. I just get goose bumps everytime i watch the scene where gwen dies.. like the way he told her to leave and the way it was indispensable but you still hoped it wouldnt happen. Tobey was more awkward Andrew was witty And Tom was clumsy And If I had to rank them i would go 1. andrew, 2. tobey, 3. tom even tho they all brought sth to the character in their own way

My favorite spider Man is and always will be Toby McGuire because he portrayed the real Spiderman's personal life struggles as well as the struggles of being Spiderman fighting both friends and foes and both at the same time ( Harry ozbourne). Along with balancing his relation to Mary Jane on an emotional level it well connected to what the real Spiderman portrayed in the comics. On another note I thought personally all the Spiderman movies Toby did Was and is amazing I still watch them even spiderman 3 an awesome movie.

Actually, you guys should know that Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker is the most comics accurate Peter. Yes, Peter was a nerdy boy. But after being bitten by a spider, he becomes an extrovert character. It's shame that His Peter is so underrated.

My opinions on tasm Garfield acting is incredible, dare i say amazing. His spiderman is truly the best one and the most comic accurate. His chemistry with emma is remarkable. Tasm overall wins with the acting perspective. However the writing is too cramped. Like, he had 2 father figures already. I get that they wanted to do something new and redeeming tobeys spiderman, but they also wanted to stuck to the old arc. So it ended up being too much.. the richard parker storyline was actually amazing and interesting from tobey's and the villains had good backround stories (thats kinda half the problem cuz the movie had waaayy to many villains in 2 hours of worth) and the fact that that they changed the love interest being gwen stacy instead mj is actually a bold move since mj kristen dunst is iconic and cant be topped off but they pulled it off with their chemistry (i know.. tasm 3 was supposed to introduce mj but in the end, they still sticked to gwen instead of mj (confirmed on nwh) also noting that tobey's gwen version is not his main love interest and didnt make quite big of a part in his version and im betting holland's version is going to introduce gwen sooner or later) I love tasm for what it wants to be, different. But they failed because the overcramped story for wanting to fit tobeys old arc too. The editors also suck for cutting up amazing acting scenes like when he screams in pain on gwens death and gits the "i got ragefull" and "i got bitter" line from spiderman nwh because in the original scene garfield actually beat dehaan's goblin. Not to death, but shows how he handled the consequenses he faced by being spiderman and just letting the rage fills him.. fits the theme for tasm too, cuz they wanted to do a grimmfull/darker version of spiderman. Also the end scene where andrew figured out taht his father is still alive. Makes much better reason for him still being spiderman and having a motivation to save ppl instead of just gwens death only. Nothing wrong by having ur gf's death as a motivation, just felt that it feels incencere and gives of women needs saving/ironic imo 💀 anyways, overall i dont hate tasm or love it as much but it did not deserve as many hate as it did. I suggest sony shouldve gave it a chance instead of rebooting again for the 2nd time. They couldve saved it with tasm 3. But things kinda worked out in the end and toms version is great and fits the mcu well. And im sooo gratefull after nwh that andrews spiderman finally getting the recognition and attention it deserves.. (Also im very mad at them killing off gwen cuz at the end it feels like it did nothing, and stanlee (rip legend) also didnt give the permission to kill off gwens character so.. gwens death kinda shit. But topped off by HALF of andrew's acting BECAUSE THEY CUT THE FUCKING SCENE WHERE ANDREW IS GETTING REVENGE AND RAGEFULL AS HE DESCRIPTED ON NWH AUSWGAHSHSGS) i just feel like they could do more with andrew :'/ Hes acting is immaculate and spectacular, have yall seen him in tick2 boom? Damn, mans have such talent wasted by shitty writing..

To be fair, Tobey Maguire first played Spiderman back in 2002, with his last appearance in the suit back in 2007. And those were good movies. But Peter Parker is eternally a kid in the comic books, unlike actors who age.
