As bad as it is to say I was thinking the same thing. I sure hope not as a previous homeowner to rental properties i would have given anything to have renters like this young man. Instead I ended up getting people who never knew how to clean or take their pets outside 🙄 lol

@@HipHopLucky7 His landlord should be ashamed for renting it dirty and with obvious damage to walls and surfaces. I had a landlord like that once. We ended up getting permission to repaint the apartment. The clerk at the paint store (This was near Los Angeles.) was high on marijuana or SOMETHING when he mixed the paints. All the semigloss colors were flat and all the flat colors were semigloss. I noticed it and was told by my husband that "when the paint dries it will look different". Nope! We did end up getting some free paint from the paint store. The paint store clerk in his stoned state also mixed a beige color my husband insisted on to a color I actually wanted which was 'toasted coconut'. That was a happy accident for me. I highly recommend that even if you think you want flat paint to go get paint with a little gloss in it like eggshell because it will clean more easily and look fresh longer than flat. Semigloss for kid's rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, baseboards and doors is sturdy enough and can be painted over in the future without a massive amount of prep work like high gloss/gloss paint. Never use lacquer paint for walls or any surface that may get scuffed. It looks beautiful at first, dries really quickly but gets damaged easily. I ended up having to repaint half my doors and half my baseboards after four years in a house that was new construction since they were lacquer paint as a result of normal wear and tear and bumps from the rubber coated vacuum cleaner bumper.

I, too, wanted to see the kitchen. What would he do with it! I wonder how the renters are allowed to rent some of these units with the condition they are in. Different country, yes. I think most times the appliances are owned and brought with them when they move in. Strange idea to me.

You can find alots Chinese transformer their old house but they are post all in chinese language. I watched fews before when i suddenly after watching fews china shows. But forget to subcribles then later i cant find it. Because i dont know chinese language lolz 😅 You might seatch by some key words "transfomation house/old house etc.." something like that but in CHINESE language. Plus, as we know CHINA IS GIGIANTIC MANUAFACTOR OF THE WORLD, so almost EVERYTHING IS AVAIBLE IN ANY WHERE FROM BIG CITY, SMALL CITIES, COUNTRYSIDE, SMALL VILLAGES. With all of quality from luxury to medium price to low cheap price. Thats why alots of youngful Chinese can do transformation like this by themself with alots ò avaible tools & suppliers. Ps: im not talkinv about craftman with good skills cause not everyone know this skills But in China you can order all the wooden material cuttinh for your size, then you just used it, very fast & easy useful

@Eausoglamorous I wasn't educated in the USA, but four of my children were. I hated HE. All it taught us was how to make cakes and biscuits. Not exactly what I was expecting. Budgeting and time management ideas, as well as at least one whole meal, would have been better. Carpentry and pottery lessons were far more fun, but we had only six weeks of classes. After that is was child care and sewing/hand crafts. I'm likely a lot older than you, so the system has changed a lot since my day.

I AM AMAZED; MARVELED at this young man's TALENTS and DEDICATION as he renos this apartment!!!! Dear Lord, have Mercy and continue to bless this baby, his talents and life!!! If I was the landlord, I would NOT charge him rent; but he'll be responsible for utilities.

Yes, the cat is amazing, and above all, she "helps" him nicely :D. We have one too, so I know what I'm talking about. The boy is very talented and has done a great job. However, I would probably not do this dirty work with drilling, dusting and painting in an already finished renovated and furnished space. But that's my opinion.
