It's unfortunate, but sometimes you get the best examples of how to act from experiencing hurt from others. It's the golden role to treat others how you want to be treated. it's easy to be a good person when you don't want anyone else to feel the pain you have before. I myself will never understand alot of things that people do the hurt others. I always try my best to make people feel welcomed and comfortable even going as far as watching what I say. So most abandoned children grow up to be great and present parents, never wanting their own child to feel unloved.

As someone who was abandoned by my father, I understand how he feels. My situation isn't exactly the same. I was abused by my father up until I was in 4th grade. When my parents divorced, we never really saw him. Then he abandoned me when my mother remarried and when I was being abused by my stepfather. I haven't seen or spoken to my father in years and have absolutely no interest. If my father cared about me, he would choose to be in my life. Eminem is a good person with a good heart.

Growing up without a father is hard; I know the feeling, even though I saw him every Saturday. It was almost impossible to reach his heart, so he was there physically but emotionally absent. But when he died, I regretted not doing more for our father-daughter relationship. So, fathers and mothers, stay in touch with your children, no matter the circumstances.

I was adopted when I was 4 years old from ukraine. When I was 22. I went to ukraine in search of my birth parents. I found my mother who was a drunk 20 years ago, and was a drunk when I meet her. I had breakfast with her and I knew I could never have a relationship with her. We were too diffrent. I found my father 3 weeks later. What he told me hurt me, but I understood. He told me that if he kept me, he would have abused me. And at 16 he would have sold me off. I asked him if he was happy, and he told me he was. He was happy without me. And I was happy with out him. If marshall's father did stay. His life could have been MUCH worse. So instead of hating the father that is never there. Maybe be greatful for it. Because the life that could have been, might have been worse.

So there is an excuse. There is always a reason. Dont ever think there isnt.
@nettyperez761110 місяців тому
@@ivanstayner8818 I guess you might be right. But the only reason I can think for not caring not caring for your own child is being dead. But a good parent since the day they receive the news, will plan how to provide wellness to the kid physically and emotionality. My mother died when I was 3 years old, but she did not planned anything… Did she thought that my father was going to take care? She knew the man, after all they were married and I was their 3rd kid. Did she thought as a responsible mother? No, she was having kids, she was a woman but does that made her a mother? A GOOD MOTHER? NO!!! Again, she KNEW the man. And, was he a good father? Did he provided for the physical and emotional well-being? NO!!! Then, NOT EVEN BEING DEAD is a good excuse.

Damn right... I relate to Eminem on this point 100%... My "father" is doing life in prison and people always ask me if I would ever go visit him. I give the same answer. I say "I don't know but I really don't think so." People say that I might regret it but I honestly can't see that being the case. Thinking/talking about my "father" really just doesn't elicit an emotional response from me AT ALL, neither negative nor positive. Just because we share the same genes doesn't mean you are somehow automatically important to me. I'm glad I actually got to PICK my family. So ya, I've really never understood why people put so much emphasis on blood like its somehow inherently important. Hbu guys?
