I'm slightly disappointed that the raccoons and foxes aren't actually raccoons and foxes :/ I'm Still super excited for the pack, but when they said there would be raccoons I was really hoping for an actual raccoon that could get into extra mischief and do raccoon-type things with their opposable thumbs.

Marília Castilho That would be so cool!! Maybe they'll eventually add a game pack or new expansion in the future that adds exotic pets and also minor pets like birds/hamsters/lizards/snakes and all that stuff. The exotic pet I've always wanted is a actually a racoon (and I've also wanted a fox for ages) so I was majorly excited when I heard about the racoons and foxes... But now knowing the sim racoons won't be any different than cats, it's a bit of a let down. Like I'll still love racoon-looking cat, but it's just not the same as having a mischievous little pet who actually has thumbs and can open things like a human. For foxes I think their behaviour could be made very foxlike just using the traits, so I'm not too upset about foxes being their own species .... But the racoon-cats are definitely a letdown

They are actual Raccoons and Foxes, you can just find them In the Cats and Dogs areas.

DemonicFryingPan But they don't function any different to cats and dogs, other than their voices ... As far as I know. The game just reads "Racoon" as a cat breed instead of its own species. And in real life, racoons have thumbs and thus get into a whole bunch of mischief that cats couldn't do... But as far as I know they don't have any different behaviours to cats.

Kumamon Bear im a bit late but theres a specific voice tone for foxes and raccoons, so you can pick 2 or 3 different cat and dog "voices" and seperates for raccoons and foxes :)

Okay, so what i do with my mom all the time is save dogs, and we have this thing where we save Pitt bulls all the times. Because, pit bulls aren't too popular because they are said to be "aggressive". But, Chow Chow's are known to be aggressive towards children. I'm just saying, just to warn you. And if you do ever get a chow chow and it is aggressive, please don't hurt it.

Wow, they have put so much effort into create-a-pet, it's amazing. I already pre-ordered the expansion, but this has made me so excited for the release. I keep thinking of all the different pets I've looked after for people or that I've owned, etc and deciding which combination of traits would suit them perfectly. Very excited. I loved that stencil feature too, and the mirror and the different coloured eyes and that you can make them cross-eyed... so so much thought has gone into this pack.

My dog is a yellow lab and is very unique because she was the runt of the litter and is smaller than most labradors by a bit (a lot) and she won't grow anymore she hasn't grown since she was 2 or 3 and her coat is unique because she is like blonde expect for a golden streak down her back to her tail and she has golden ears too that are so soft. .........Sorry I'm gonna go hug my dog now

My only thought while watching this was "I wonder if they have a English Bull Terrier" option and OMG THEY DO! I'M SO EXCITED! Naomi Shinesomham I'm not sure but I imagine you could. Just how when ypu go on the town view right when you open a saved game, click on the family, then go to the place where you can edit the household in cas. So you should be able to add a dog if you want.

If you can’t normally, try using the cheat cas.fulleditmode. You can add sims this way, so it should work for pets too.

I'm in love with how they allowed us to make our own furs for the pet, that's so creative and so awesome! I can't wait for this expansion, but I'm totally going to have to wait till the price goes down a little. WowZA!
