They are definitely listening to the fans! When they made that survey on what expansion pack we should have for sims 4, they actually were awesome enough to combine 2 expansions into one. Retail and active careers! Plus aliens! It's amazing

What? Are you going to claim that it isn't true? Everyone hating on Sims 4 now will claim how it's "so much better than Sims 3" by the time they come up with Sims 5. But than again, it was the same for Sims 3 when it first came out. Gotta love hypocritical people

***** Except you're neglecting why people were disappointed with The Sims 4 in the first place. One of the biggest reasons was that it was missing content previously available with base-game copies of the Sims 2/3. Obviously after a few expansion packs, and the content gets fleshed out a bit, the game is going to improve in that respect. It's not hypocritical because the game now (and whatever it ends up like by the time the Sims 5 is announced) isn't the same game that people reviewed at launch. And I'm not referencing this pack specifically with the following, but content like swimming pools that have been added in since should've been there since launch. Encouraging bad business practice by foolhardily defending the developers isn't good for the consumer. I still agree with most negative reviews of the game to this day because of that, regardless of how I feel about the game now.
