Honestly for the most part I really enjoyed this tier list. And I understand people not liking Emboar. But the explanation for him liking Incineroar was the same reasons he gave for disliking Emboar.

Greninja probably thought the scarf was cotton candy and got his tongue into that mess, but still managed to make it look good.

Me: likes Litten and his entire line based off his personality in the anime and his design and was my first starter when I played pokemon sun which is the first pokemon game I pre ordered so I have a lot of personal connections to him. Competitive players: *likes him because he's strong and good in PvP.* Edit: my favorite starter is Tepig and totodile and their lines but I have a lot of personal connections to Litten and his line as well

First and foremost, love the tier list idea. I’m somewhat tempted to do my own! Secondly, I tend to agree with a lot of your opinions, which is funny because I almost always disagree with other people’s opinions (but hey, opinions are opinions, I don’t get too butthurt over it). Over here though, I did have a few disagreements, but I think you always do a great job covering all bases on things and I’d have to agree as well that none of these Pokémon are bad, just have to pick a least favorite and a favorite. I guess I’m in the minority because Empoleon is my favorite ever and it seems like a lot of people in the comments I’ve read dislike it. That’s fine I guess but I just think it’s so cool and sophisticated. Also penguins are my favorite animal!

Really critical theme to make a tier list

I always pick the water starter, except in gen 4. I do like piplup more than chimchar, but monferno and infernape are easily better than prinplup and empoleon. Swampert needs to be moved to SSS. It is my second favourite pokemon, was my first pokemon, and is my favourite starter.

I enjoy the Litten line up until Incineroar... think I’d like it more if the transition from Torracat to Incineroar was smoother 🤷🏻‍♀️

When you said "There is only one in the F tier" I thought "Definitely Meganium" Then I was surprised when I saw Emboar. And not surprised AT ALL when I saw Primarina and Meganium in D tier. BUT Emboar has Curse Gyro spin.

My biggest gripe with Incineroar is the disappointment factor. Litten was by far the cutest fire starter, and I absolutely loved it. The moment it was revealed I knew I was going to choose litten and that would never change. Then we got Toracat which I thought looked really good too, it was a great start, for once a fire starter that stayed true to it's first form's design..... and then Incineroar was just not at all what I felt litten and toracat were going for. And for that, I chose litten and when it became a Toracat, I made it hold an everstone for the rest of the game, and I finished the game with a Toracat, that's how much I disliked Incineroar. Incineroar to me, looks like Sonic Boom's Knuckles. Big, red and comically dumb to the point where it's unrelateable. (If Incineroar had been more along the lines of Luxray I think it would be by far my favorite starter line)
