Stumbled across their Burning Man 2022 set and... wow. Just wow. Possibly the best set I've ever heard. I just wish I had been there. Will definitely look out for them from now on. As I get older and hear more music I am becoming convinced that there is a theoretical "best" sound out there for each of us. Perhaps there is a "god track" that is perfect for everyone at all times but I suspect more likely there are variations on a theme. I'm addition to the tracks I just like - from Billy Joel's Captain Jack to Kraftwork's Autobahn there are the tracks that contain an echo, a faint reflection of that theorised God track. It could be in the beat, the melody, the harmonies or even the discordant elements, but these tracks, like this set, have elements of that most perfect sound.... Loud - Subinya; Meduza - Upsidedown (extended mix); Hidden Voices - Comes in Waves; Rudimental - Break My Heart; Let's Eat Grandma - I Really Want to Stay at Your House (live at KEXP); Lobe - Placebo; Tove Lo - Habits; Fleetwood Mac - Man of the World; Cassisdead - Pat Earrings and so many more... I've heard bits of it in unlikely places, such as in part of the background texture of Taylor's version of Taylor Swift's - Wildest Dreams (starting at 41 seconds), from about 1min 30s in to Sweet Remixes - Wings; in most of Howling - Howling (Âme Remix)... It's even I'm 2 seconds of Weezer - Buddy Holly (2:51 - 2:53)! This... vague echo of the god noise crops up again and again, sometimes only vague and for a second, other times I imagine Taylor Swift getting in trouble at the Pearly Gates for having revealed more of the song than she was supposed to 😂

Your ability to control energy and take a crowd on a journey is quite special and I believe this is best appreciated while dancing/ flowing with others as opposed to sitting down in a concert hall. Your set at Envision 2020 was the best musical performance I have ever experienced and I look forward to seeing you live again soon.

That video has been the backdrop to many a party/gathering at my place over the past couple of years - you were with us during those few "up" moments when society was having it's "down" COVID moments.
