Cotto was never the same after that first Margarito fight. I was a fan of Cotto, but it was only after Margarito was exposed as a cheating fraud with Mosley that I understood just how much of a warrior he was during that fight against Margarito and his loaded gloves. Margarito was a cheating coward and should have been permanently banned after his loaded gloves were discovered. Loaded gloves should end your career because you are putting the other fighter's actual life, future health and mental faculties, and their entire career at risk to give yourself an unfair brutal advantage.

I remember as a teenager going to other Puerto Rican houses to watch Cotto fight. It filled our hearts as Puerto Ricans with so much pride and love for Cotto. We never missed a fight. Boricua por siempre
