We're so frustrated and fed-up in India to have to live with this global scam of the image of the Mahatma. He was an incredibly crafty leader with a grassroots level connect that was unparalleled. But to deify him and call him Mahatma, when he wasn't even dharmic by his own admission. And all the unsavoury things he said and did, including bizarre quotes lightly dismissing the genocide of Hindus and Jews that many people have sadly not even heard of. No one should be above criticism and many of these so-called great people have conflicted legacies. In fact one of India's greatest intellectuals Ambedkar talks about the day "Gandhi really showed him his fangs" Glad someone made this video. We're just sick and tired of the myth of Gandhi.

Although, when Bob was still young, probably in his 20s, he didn't do his taxes, skipped work for no reason and although he was still a good man and most of his friends respected him, there were some who hated him.. now bob is over 40 years old, he got a change in his heart seeing the position of his country and how can he help even if small to ramp up his country's progress... Now, many people... more than when he was in 20s respected him and saw him as an old wise man, but still there were some who used to point out his previous mistakes of he evaded tax and didn't contributed in his part of work in his 20s.. Bob doesn't care neither does his friends because he know that maybe he had done some things wrong in the past, maybe he still sometimes, very rarely skips his work... he has changed. I am from India. As a child, I was taught in school that Gandhi was a good man and, like God, perfect in everything. But once my father told me about the bad aspects of Gandhi. So I went to my school and talked to my friends about it. But they told everything to the class teacher and the teacher beat me for lying about Gandhi. After that, I was afraid to tell or ask anyone else what I had heard about Gandhi. Years later, when I read Gandhi's autobiography and many other books about Gandhi, I had the courage to say these things without fear to anyone else. By then my circle of friends had grown, and as my friends also learned about this dark side of Gandhi through many books like I did.. I was able to talk to them about Gandhi, analyze him, and come to a conclusion. In my opinion Gandhi is an ordinary man like all of us. A man with a lot of good and bad. I will never consider him as a great human being. But I accept the fact that he has played an important role in India's freedom movement. And I have no objection to those who live by Gandhian ideas. They follow the positive aspects of Gandhi. But I am opposed to portraying Gandhi as God-like by pretending not to see the dark side of Gandhi. Thank you for making such a video and presenting it to the world. ❤️ Love from India 🇮🇳

He was tagged as "FATHER OF NATION" by the Congress party that went on to rule India for next 3 decades. So for them, Gandhi was a launchpad sponsored by the Brits. Fun Fact: Gandhi was also part of British army as Sergeant Major and wholeheartedly supported Brits in WW1, before he was air dropped into India as this epitome of "Righteousness". But those who know the Brits and their colonial bent of mind, would know that they would have seen Gandhi as merely a means to influence gullible Indians, backed by the non proven "Racism on a train in South Africa" story and hence no wonder they saw an opportunity in portraying Gandhi as a "Freedom Fighter". The views he had about Jews is exactly his views also about Hindus when he encouraged Hindus to get killed at the hands of Islamists in India. That Hindu hate is found today in Congress Party of India. Despicable Man leading a Despicable Congress Party!

CWS plagues many of us without realizing it. Say every day your favorite content creator comes on live and you never missed a day watching. The traits, behavior, and personalities on camera is all you exposed to. Let's say you get an opportunity to meet said person in real life and off recordings. And their persona doesn't match what you was exposed to for years. Some wouldn't care. But there are those with CWS that think they know someone's entire life based on what is shown in camera. And their reality is shut down hard when it doesn't match. (What do you mean she doesn't wear a tail all day everyday?! Unsubscribe...) Ideas requires a vessel that represents the idea. Like creating a king, and the king returns asking for help. When the people created the king for protection in the first place. The idea from the people wanted a symbol of protection. And once the protector asks for help. The people no longer see the king as the protector they created. Or worse....For a many, instead of thinking the king is flawed, they more inclined to believe the idea is flawed and continue following the king they created. Even if its down a dark path.

Gandhi has always been one of my heroes. Last year I visited the south of India and I must admit that I was rather surprised when I read one his phrases in a museum dedicated to him. The partition of India wasn't entirely his fault. The British were in the most fault as they didn't even properly think about the borders from a geographic stand point. I still remember 4 years ago during a history class, we were reading the chapter "Rise of nationalism in India" and it has a lot parts and sub sections so we read them one by one. Then, we reached the section about gandhi his principles and stuff and there I remember it was my turn to read and the context was 'women's rights in the freedom struggle and women's right to vote' and gandhi's statement with respect to women's rights was "Women are supposed to care of their houses and that's their duty to care care of their children and husbands" This made me startle because until then gandhi was a god for us and we were never told anything bad about him so I assumed I read wrong and decided to read it again later and it still meant the same thing. I came home and looked up Gandhi like fr fr and I was so disappointed but also happy because now I wasn't idealizing a guy who was a big hypocrite. Edit: and i would say he was pretty like diplomatic manipulative leader which is why everyone liked him besides his pervy sexist and racist practices but that does not make him A GREAT LIVING BEING because he wasnt an honest man and he isnt someone who should be so looked upon as much as he is.

It was two terrible options and gandhi went with one. Again I'm not trying to justify his decision I'm just trying to look at the facts from a neutral point. And when it comes to world war, gandhi did recruited participants from both india and SA but not for WWII but for WWI. During the WWII gandhi asked british imperials that india will not participate in anything unless the independence is granted. The slogan for revolution was "agrejo bharat chhodo meaning Englishmen leave the india" and na denge ek bhai, na denge ek paai meaning we'll not give a single penny or a single brother to english wars."

He was constantly evolving and learning like any other human and was not afraid to be vocal about his beliefs at the time. He slept with a lot of women during the night without as much as touching them, the same as one would sleep with their mother or sister, hence proving his celibacy. Growing up as an indian you were always taught gandhi as god's angel in schools as they say him 'mahatma' gandhi, but none can deny the fact that he indeed had a influence of white superiority in him. He had even manipulated the meaning of tolerance, and all of that in the name of being religiously nonviolent, which is as wrong as it can be. Even in our religion they say, 'अहिंसा परमो धर्मः धर्म हिंसा तथैव च:' which means 'Non-violence is the ultimate duty, but you have to choose the path of Violence to protect the world from evils.' Gandhi even agreed to the proposal of division of the nation into inda and pakistan, and even if that was not enough already that he made one country an islamic state and the other one secular... Not only that, he even didn't try to stop the hangings of violent nationalists like bhagat singh, sukhdev singh and many other just because they were not following the same ideology of his free india. There are many more evidences to support that he was more interested in holding power than freedom of india.

Absolutely, And I just can't take the fact that he got more people killed than even Netaji who fought for a good reason. After India became indepwndent, he didn't get any political or leadership official posts in the newly government of India, where Nehru became the first PM. What didn't get mentioned in this video is how he ordered the execution of actual freedom fighters and encouraged their deaths (so much for nonviolence) in order to fight for a state that was pretty much still a puppet state. Keeping in mind what the British at the time had done to India (multiple genocides under the Churchill government completely overlooked), he just brushed those aside, let them keep killing and refused the people who deserved the true Gandhi hero status from achieving true independence. Same as mother Teresa, she was selective on the charity giving for more publicity; and many times through her life she was queried whether a demon posessed her. She was actually exorsided. This isn't normal, a person doesnt get an exorcism without suspicion or a crazy fanatic group as her acquaintances. Her path was true and just and she was a person about helping others and making the neediest of needy desperate people a bed, a foot wash or some food. However, given that understanding she was still selective everywhere she went for a political stance; she was more pleased with pursuing the demand from rich folk or those with political influence in certain areas to pacify certain slum communities that were experiencing famine, disease, drugs, mobs, gangs, corrupt societies. The same is said about other recent political saings, you really have to question there actions. In reality, every action has a consequence.

Winston Churchill's policies caused a famine that claimed more than 3 million Indian lives, according to a new study using soil analysis for the first time to prove the origins of the disaster. He starved Bengal to feed london Churchill even appeared to blame the Indians for the famine, claiming they "breed like rabbits"."It's one of the worst blots on his record," says Toye. "It clearly is the case that it was difficult for people to get him to take the issue seriously." Churchill has been criticised for advocating the use of chemical weapons - primarily against Kurds and Afghans. "I cannot understand this squeamishness about the use of gas," he wrote in a memo during his role as minister for war and air in 1919. "I am strongly in favour of using poisoned gas against uncivilised tribes," he continued. Churchill's views on race were incomparable to Hitler's murderous interpretation of racial hierarchy, Toye says. "Although Churchill did think that white people were superior, that didn't mean he necessarily thought it was OK to treat non-white people in an inhumane way."
