Allison was my favorite character on Season 3

I insist with the word "character", because finding it "concerning" to like a villain is in itself concerning. Give a person that much power and she will inevitably abuse it (even if that person isn't really evil). For her, a problem will always have a simple solution: convince by starting a rumor. Five made it clear that time travel has a huge impact on the mind, that it can change a person. Furthermore, he made it clear that what turns a hero into a villain is when he or she makes decisions on their own and becomes selfish. Allison went through various very complicated trials, she became unstable as she traveled, she had this feeling that she was losing her family. She had only one thing on her mind and that was to find her family by any means necessary, because it was that family that kept her head above water. The villains are the opposite of the heroes, we don't like them, they make very questionable choices, they betray their own, they do terrible things... In short: real "red flags". But Allison's choices are driven by pain, anger and instability due to time travel. I don't see her as a hero, on the contrary! She's not a superhero whose choices are immaculate and can be idolized. She is a broken, envious, selfish woman who made bad choices because she is a human with super powers. (I find it more frightening when people like the character of J.Dahmer, without remembering that this person and his victims really existed. Big red flag). Thanks for reading!

@@charlotteg.8858 I love it when shows tell a solid story and then end. So many series just go downhill because they keep milking them for a cash grab and lose more and more quality. You can see when the passion and direction are no longer there.

@@Maurenriques but also that’s what’s so interesting about them. Yes they are super humans but at the end of the day they still feel and experience “normal” human experiences and emotions. They weren’t born with how to save the world, and their characters portray that. They, for the most part, want a normal or wanted a normal life but just don’t and haven’t had that. They do what they can with their strengths but still have all the natural human flaws. Hence why I think people can relate to the characters so well. The directing and producing of this show has been great. They aren’t afraid to show the flaws of the characters, and it makes them so much more relatable:)
