With the help of the charismatic DJ, Jim Carrey, this album has it all. Personally, this album was at the right time for me. Less than Zero hit me in my heart. Dawn FM is that little light you see in the distance. And how do we not talk about the beauty in his transitions from song to song, with the use of Jim and beautiful synths. 10 out of 10 for me.

What makes The Weeknd so special is that he doesn’t care if his album sells well. It was actually mentioned that they wouldn’t be able to sell physical copies until later dates, but he stated that it doesn’t matter to him. It’s just his message of giving introverts those voices that they’ve been seeking what he truly cares for, as well as just giving back to his fans, that’s what makes him so special. 🖤🌅

I'm not a big fan of the genre, But this album is in my top 10 greatest albums ever made. It's that good. I stumbled on it listening to random songs while working, and didn't realize I had listened to the entire album in one go without skipping once. Been coming back to it for a month straight.

It’s fair to call this Abel’s best project, right? I mean, I love House of Balloons as much as the next guy but this is just on another level. You kind of forget you’re listening to an album halfway through because the songs are so groovy and fun and then you get the interludes and Jim Carey speeches which make you remember that what you have been listening to is high art

I really hope Dawn FM gets to tour. Not only is it a perfect classic album that will stand the test of time, its also perfect for events and stadium concerts. It's been a great experience with this album so far. Other music just doesn't matter anymore. I want Dawn FM injected in my veins.

The album is definitely meant to be consumed as a whole. There's evolution in it. Jim's poem at the end makes me tear up every time.. I'm not even sure why.

I don't know how to write fan mail. And never have I wanted to write fan mail before. Abel if you ever read this (which I doubt) but I owe you my life. I listen to Dawn FM every single day and every night before I go to bed I start with A tale by Quincey and keep it moving. I believe Dawn Fm dropped in January last year. The following month my mother died unexpectedly and I lost my house and eventually I felt like I was losing my mind. My daughter was just a few months old and Id carry her and sing Is there someone else everyday together. She loves it now lol. After a while I developed Psychosis and was hallucinating. Dawn FM at that point was the only thing that kept me grounded. I eventually attempted suicide in September and again Dawn FM has been the only comfort for me lately. I just wanted to say Thank you Abel I empathize with your past and this album hits me everyday to my core. Phantom regret by Jim completely tears me down. This album is pure art I hope the universe blesses you with continued prosperity and a long life.

Every time I hear "Phantom Regret" I feel like hypnotized. It's incredible how great and beautiful this album is.

I think it's really amazing, how much this album is more a listening experience than just a line-up of great songs. You can fairly, and easily say that "Starboy" has more hits, but I highly appreciate how this album sets you into a unique mood and you can't stop listening until you've reached that blissful embrace of feeling free.

Here's why I think this is amazing music 1. Extremely catchy and singable melodies 2 .80s retro synth sounds are soothing and easy to listen to. 3. Groovy rhythms make you wanna move your body. 4. His voice is beautiful and soothing and enjoyable. 5. The videos are interesting 6. He has superstar stage presence !

This man is the only artist I’ve been obsessed with for years in my musical journey. There’s honestly no one else like him doing what he does. Purely for the love of music and story telling. No one is touching this level of creative thinking today. Not even the top “pop” stars. This album probably isn’t even his best yet. I have this underlying feeling the next one is gonna be more mind blowing and addictive. He’s got such a formula down and I bet he knows it but also doesn’t hence the fact he experiments. I've been listening to him since 2012 (when the mixtapes were free to download off of his website) and love all his work. Having said that, After hours and Dawn FM are the most like the OG mixtapes in the sense that the albums flow into each other and have a unified, dark theme in the lyrics. I feel as though they represent how he's feeling at that time, therefore much more personal. OG fans will love these types of projects while they may be too esoteric for the bandwagoners and critics.

The Weeknd is definitely one of the most creative, fascinating artists of the last 10 years or so. I love how he takes 1980s R&B, pop and new wave and puts his own spin on those genres. Watching this, I'd love to turn the clock back 25 years and be in this "club" dancing along with the crowd!
