I left the house Saturday morning in hopes of finding a remote campsite in the Foothills State Forest. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I found the forest roads were closed. I was expecting the closure to happen soon than later. I have been watching for State Forest updates because I didn't want to waste a bunch of time and fuel. I checked 3 different State forests Saturday morning, they were all closed.
On my drive home I was thinking that I should spend the weekend removing the generator and fixing the portion of the floor under the dump valves. The bad news is those videos never perform well and recording that will turn an afternoon project into a two-day event. I thought I would check one more spot before calling it quits. That is how we ended up here at Greer Lake Campground.
I had a great weekend. It was peaceful, supper was great, and Toby had fun. I couldn't ask for a better weekend.
I packed up early Sunday afternoon because we celebrated Easter with the family at Mandi's house. I want to thank you for coming along on this weekend's adventure. Hopefully I'll see you again next week for another relaxing weekend experiencing whatever Mother Nature has in store for us.
