One of the most enjoyable things to do in these games is go to a place that's supposed to be way too hard for you yet, and come up with tactics to beat it anyway. I love how we can basically control our own difficulty in games that have set levels by doing this kind of thing. We can't do that in games that scale the enemy levels. Sure, you can sort of do it when they put difficulty levels in the game, but I enjoy making it easier or harder on a whim, going way above what I should and still winning, all this cool stuff you can't do when the levels scale to match you.

(They used other mon for the extra 1 for ghost gym, and a second added for the Team Star bases just a no damaging moves allowed to be used by the non- challenge run mons in these instances)… I am doing a Quaxly solo run game… 99.9% of the time NEVER nickname my mons BUT in my Quaxly only run, got reset til I got a *female* and named it after the 1959 Journey to the center of the Earth Movie’s Duck, *Gertrude* a old favorite movie of mine! Got a ditto (for the sake of a challenge) for breeding for two more quaxly to use for team star raids & the gym. Ditto was just for the breeding… Caught two shines I came across- not using at all but… can’t leave shinies uncaptured 😂 Just a Pkmn dex of 4. Launching quaxly at wild Pkmn is hilarious to me! That tiny blue blob… going and crushing mons bigger than it at times LOL… Made my trainer have a sad face… He’s taking on the game with his lunch… 😁 Yeah, sandwich is for the dragon but the duck is for him… It’s pretty fast food too 🤣😆
