I heavily disagree. If the person is taking care of them and actually giving them everything they need plus some wants, there's no reason NOT to allow a pet that is normally wild. But that is a necessity they actually know what they're doing for the specific animal, but I'm sure many wild animals would rather be pets, not having to deal with the dangers of other animals and whether or not they'd find food.

@@eldenvedetta635 Hell no. Capturing wild animals and forcing them to be cute pets for our entertainment is just cruel and is contributing to f up our ecosystems. Many parts of the world have banned prairie dogs commerce because most of them were stolen from their families in the most cruel ways.

Is she though? While these people domesticated a wild animal, they are screaming that it can't climb onto the furniture or eat a plant? She has been adopted from a previous situation. Whatever the previous people did, she cannot be released to the wild because she didn’t grow up naturally and wouldn’t fair well. This is the best scenario for her situation. They are amazing people who sacrifice a lot of time and energy to care for her properly. Which I’d say 90 percent of people wouldn’t. Anyway I’ve seen your videos and I think you need to clear your head because you’re not understanding reality.

Thank you. Agreed. In a typical situation there should be at least a pair, but Poppy does not do well with others. Because of this we spend a significant amount of time with her during the day to make sure she gets adequate time and attention

I just wanted to alert you about the ribbon hanging in Poppys apartment. She can accidentally get that wrapped around her neck and choke. Also be careful in parks with dogs that can hurt her. Love you and her.

They aren’t considered as a pet. This is a special case scenario where unfortunately someone did acquire this as a pet but then didn’t take proper care of it. So now this is a rare case where this animal is living a domesticated life.
