One of the best aspects of the T'au is the variety of aesthetics within their army. They range from the Gundam-esque battlesuits to the wild Kroot. With their new codex dropping, Games Workshop has considerably expanded the Kroot portion of the range. One of those new models is the Kroot Lone-Spear, a character that rides around on a cool looking lizard, newt, thingy.
Come along with me as I show you how I painted up my Kroot Lone-Spear and imagined how cool it would be to ride a giant lizard thingy!

It's actually space chicken riding on an even more evolved space chicken. Which is kinda spiffy when compared to local evolution... *Edit:* Need to wait to hear the lore, but would be first thing they used that wasn't a space chicken too...

Looks great! But I really wist Army painter would do some real texture pastes. Its just much easier to me.

@@TheGlacialGeek Kroot are what got me to the Greater Good. Painted the Kroot dude from Blackstone Fortress and just wanted more. The new wave of releases got me super excited - Lonespears + Ghostkeels for a bunch of very sturdy lone operatives to give headaches to the opponent!

If only I had monees, the glorious cannibal space chickens would be my very first Xenos army. Wouldn't care one slick for the space commies themselves, but would really start bullying GW for some buggo-bois. Not to mention the pancake psychic polarbears.
